She’s stranded on a mountain. He’s only taking her in for the night, or so he thought…

Sadie isn’t supposed to be here, on my mountain. My sanctuary. When I find her in a rather compromising position in the woods lining my property, I have no choice but to take her in. Just for the night. She’s clearly out of her element, what with her high heels and pencil skirt.
One night turns into two and I find myself drawn to the curvy woman, despite our age gap. Her bright smile and relentless positivity is in direct contrast to my own surly darkness but I can’t stay away. Sadie makes me feel alive for the first time in decades. However, I don’t trust easily and something tells me my little Sadie has a secret.

Is our connection strong enough to overcome the obstacles headed our way? Will I always be alone, or can I learn how to love before it’s too late?
