“Yes Alpha.” The four deltas that now sat at my table stood and went out to relay the message.

I glanced over to Harlen and sighed.

“ I don’t know who to send with Nikita to the Obsidian pack room. I don’t want too many people knowing about it but I can’t leave her and the pup in there by themselves.”

“We can send Bella and a warrior. Bella has been a midwife to many wolves when Doc had things come up. Plus she can help keep Nikita calm. You know that there are two warriors that would give their lives for the Luna.” Harlen answered me.

I didn’t want to put Bella in danger but if I sent either Blake or Conner with them then they would be safer. Blake and Conner had been with me since I first became alpha. I trusted them with my life. I was going to need to figure out something soon because she would have to go quickly if a fight started.

“Fine, we will send Blake or Conner with Bella and Nikita. But no one needs to know other than those three. We keep this between us.” I glanced up at my old mentor and friend. He was one that I wouldn’t ever not take his advice.

“You know that we will. Do you want to bring them in? Talk to them now?”

I took a deep breath and nodded. This needed to be done now and not later. There was no way to know if this wolf was already on the territory or had a way to take more from us. I can’t let anything go one more day. “Tell them to meet me in my office.”

Harlen nodded while I stood making my way to my office. As much as I liked the sun from this room. I loved the view from my office even better. It made talking about things like this a lot easier. Not that I had to worry about these two warriors not doing what I needed from them. They always made sure that they were early to training and even volunteered for extra patrols if someone needed off.

Stepping in the room, I made my way to my desk as Harlen sat on one of the couches. My ass made contact with the seat of my leather chair just as they knocked on the door. It didn’t take them too long to make it to me. Like I said they were always very prompt.
