I sit back and stare at my brother, who continues passing the papers out.
“He’s right,” Zoe says quietly. “A healthy sexual appetite is important.”
“That’s enough.” I turn to face her, and her eyes flash with something heady.
Well, fuck.
I quickly turn back toward my youngest brother.
“While people are looking over the instructions and NDA, can someone tell me what they think of when they think of BDSM?” He chooses a guy who’s sitting a few seats away.
“Fifty Shades of Grey?” the guy asks, obviously grasping for straws.
Orion shrugs as he walks to the second row, passing the papers out. “Not quite. But I’ll get into that a bit more in depth later. Can someone share where they first heard of BDSM?”
For the second time, I’m horrified when Zoe raises her hand.
“My friends,” she says primly. “Once I discovered what I liked, it was easy to find like-minded people.”
A few people laugh, but my mouth drops open.
She learned about BDSM from herfriends? Which friends?
“Very good,” Orion muses, finally getting to the very back row to pass the papers out.
I don’t miss the way he smiles knowingly in my direction.
“Before you take the quiz, I’m curious to see what your preconceived notions of kink are. I’m going to read off a list of sexual behaviors, and I want you to tell me if you think they’re kinky or not. This is going to be an open forum, so feel free to shout out your answers. Ready?”
When I look around, all of the students are watching Orion raptly.
“Reverse cowgirl.”
“Not kinky!” someone shouts from the back.
Orion laughs. “Good. What about erotic asphyxiation?”
“Obviously kinky,” Zoe drawls, nearly rolling her eyes.
I snap my attention to her as she shuts her computer and leans back. What thehellis erotic asphyxiation? And why the hell does she know about it?
“You’re correct,” Orion says quickly. “What about cunnilingus?”
“Not kinky,” someone says.
“Foot jobs.”
“It depends,” Zoe answers. “Normally, no. But if it’s a part of foot fetishism, then perhaps.”
My mind is spinning with information, and I swallow thickly as I digest her words too slowly.
“True,” Orion says slowly. “What about watching someone have sex?”
“Kinky,” someone on my left calls out.
“Good. So it seems you guys have a basic understanding. I’ll go into more detail after you take the quiz. Some of you might not be comfortable sharing your results, and that’s fine. Zoe’s hand shoots up, and she speaks before I can process what she’s saying.
