“You’re going to kill me, Parker,” I whisper, falling into the bed next to her.
“Not yet. I was told it would be a long, very exhausting night. I’m all hyped up on caffeine, you see,” she taunts, crawling over to my lap and straddling me.
“Fuck,” I murmur, my voice ragged. “If you ride me, I might spontaneously combust. I need a minute.”
She gives me a Cheshire smile, large and mischievous. “Okay. But that was really hot, and I’m finding myself…verywet,” she adds, sinking down to slide against my still-hard cock.
I run a hand over my face as I smile up at her.
“You’re really going to ruin me forever, do you know that?”
“Not if you ruin me first,” she says, sliding against my shaft again and smirking. “Now, which course is this?” I furrow my brows in confusion. “You mentioned earlier that your second dessert was me, so you owe me… five more courses, yes?”
Seven-course meal. Of fucking course.
I grin as I grab her hips and flip us both over so that I’m on top. “I am quite hungry.”
CHAPTERTHIRTY-ONE
THE BRUNCH
Juliet
“Stop fidgeting. You look beautiful,” Chase murmurs, taking my hand underneath the table so that I stop adjusting my blouse and smoothing my hair.
“I don’t think you realize how big of a deal this is, Ravage,” I growl. “I’ve never met any of his significant others.Ever.”
Chase’s lips twitch with a smile. “But you already met him.”
I scoff. “Yes, briefly. But not as Jackson’sdate,” I hiss, looking around my favorite brunch restaurant.
“And I have some idea, Parker. He is my best friend.”
I look over at him, and he’s sipping his coffee with his signature smug smile. “I know. I’m sorry. I want to get this right. Oh! And, not to mention, he’s never seen us as—”
I go still, closing my mouth. What are we, exactly?
Chase leans closer. “Seen us as what, Parker?” he murmurs into my ear. “Do tell me what label you’ve given me today, because last night, while I was fucking your brains out, I believe you told me you loved me.”
My cheeks burn at his words, remembering my admission in the throes of passion. “Yes, well, we’ve never introduced ourselves to someone else, so I’m unsure of—”
“How about we tell people we’re dating, Parker?” I open and close my mouth, shocked at his admission. Chase Ravage doesn’tdate. He must be enjoying my shock, however, because he leans back and takes another sip of his coffee. “Or would you rather tell everyone about how I’m your predator and you’re my prey?”
I inhale sharply as Jackson wanders into the restaurant, Mark trailing slightly behind him. Jumping up, I forgo formalities and hug both of them. Mark doesn’t seem phased by my outward show of affection, only chuckling as he takes a seat next to Jackson. Chase is much more perfunctory, giving Mark a handshake instead and throwing Jackson a knowing smile.
We all sit down and say hello as the server brings us all menus, effectively silencing us as we peruse them. I keep sneaking glances at Jackson and Mark, but Chase pinches my thigh and grabs my hand, which catches Jackson’s attention.
“I see you two have finally kissed and made up,” he mutters, giving us a sly smile.
“Mmm, the same could be said for you, brother,” I retort, cocking my head and giving him a genuine smile.
“Oh, that’s a story for another day,” Mark murmurs to my surprise. “He recreated the scene fromLove, Actually. The one where Keira Knightley’s friend comes to the door? It was very sweet,” he murmurs, looking over at Jackson, who is smirking, before turning back to us. His eyes flick to Chase and a look of confusion passes over his face. “Did you dye your hair?” he asks Chase. “I swear, you had blonde hair at the party—”
Jackson makes a subtle, slicing motion at his neck. “Different guy, remember?” he hisses quietly.
Mark laughs. “Right. Sorry. I forgot,” he says, looking at me. “It’s nice to see you again, Juliet.”
I smile. “You too, Mark. And yes, this idiot next to me is the one who paid for that whole lavish ordeal,” I explain, ignoring the way Chase is squeezing my thigh tightly.
