Giorgio: From their socials, they are having a great time on holidays.
Giorgio: And I guess my hands are tied, I can’t out them.
Paige: True. Can’t you do your side of the story without outing them? I’m not sure how all that stuff works.
Giorgio: If only it was that simple, my PR people need to talk to hers and so on.
Paige: Why the delay?
Giorgio: As modern as Italy is, not all parts are.
Paige: Oh, I see.
Giorgio: And as much as I love my parents, I’m not sure how they are going to react to my sister’s news.
Paige: Especially with your father’s health the way it is.
Giorgio: Exactly. Also, Giada is worried that once she comes out with Allegra that she might lose her job, her contracts, everything.
Giorgio: The paparazzi and gossips are going to have a field day with this once it comes out. Guess it’s the calm before the storm, and if I’m being honest, I’d rather the calm.
Paige: I can’t imagine what it would be like breaking up publicly. It was hard enough doing it privately.
Giorgio: It’s going to suck. I guess that’s why I haven’t pushed Giada for a joint statement.
Giorgio: Guess I should rip the Band-Aid off soon.
Paige: Only when you’re ready. There’s no hurry unless you’re dating already.
Giorgio: Hell no. I’m not ready for that. Are you?
Paige: Hell no, me either.
Giorgio: We’re a great pair, aren’t we?
Paige: I’m not looking forward to getting out there again.
Giorgio: Me either. I’m happy as I am.
Paige: Me too. Don’t have to answer to anyone. I can sit and read a book all day long if I want to. I can watch whatever show I want.
Giorgio: Guess that’s where I’m lucky, I could do that anyway as we didn’t live together.
Paige: Makes the breakup easier, you can just ship her things to her.
Giorgio: She never left anything here.
Paige: Nothing?
Giorgio: No. All her wardrobe was at her place, she popped in and then went home again.
Paige: Wow. How did you miss those raging red flags? LOL
Giorgio: I see them now, but I didn’t then. I thought I’d hit the jackpot with her wanting to keep our lives so separate.
Giorgio: We were both so busy I never thought it was wrong.
Paige: It’s not wrong, just different.
