“No, fuck you. You’ve always been a selfish bitch. How could you do this to Gio? He’s the one sibling that likes you,” Natalia adds.

Allegra looks over at me as tears fall down her cheeks. “You weren’t supposed to fall in love with her,” she confesses.

Her words shock me. That’s the thing, I’m not in love with Giada.

“I wasn’t supposed to have fallen for him either,” Giada adds.

Turning, I look over at where she is standing, wiping her tears away. “You don’t love me, Giada.”

Her eyes soften. “I fell in love with both of you.”

What? I’m shocked. We have never said I love you before.

“Are you fucking serious?” Allegra spits, looking at Giada angrily.

Giada nods.

“I don’t understand. You told me you didn’t love him,” Allegra questions her.

“I lied,” Giada tells her. “I didn’t want you to know that I was falling for him, while I was falling for you, too. What kind of person falls in love with a brother and sister?”

“The same kind of fucked-up person that accepts the brother’s proposal while continuing to sleep with his sister. This is bullshit,” Natalia barks as she folds her arms, not believing anything my fiancée is saying.

“I thought you agreed it was a marriage of convenience and you weren’t even sleeping together,” Allegra asks Giada.

Giada’s eyes fall to the floor as she’s unable to look at Allegra.

Why do I feel like I’m the side piece in this fucked up situation?

“I lied,” Giada confesses as tears fall down her cheeks.

Allegra’s face falls, hurt and betrayal etched onto it.

“You’re upset because she slept with her fiancé?” Natalia asks.

Allegra turns and narrows her eyes as she glares at her younger sister.

“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you. I didn’t know how. This entire thing is one big mess,” Giada says.

“You can say that again,” Natalia adds, rolling her eyes.

“This is all my fault. I should have been honest with them both,” Giada states.

“You should never have said yes to Gio,” Luca adds.

Giada looks over at Luca and nods. “I know, but Gio and I had an understanding, didn’t we?” she says, turning to me.

The room falls silent.

“That you could sleep with other people?” Natalia questions as she looks up at me.

“Yes.”

Natalia gasps, while Luca shakes his head.

“Guess you didn’t mean your sister though,” Natalia snips.

She would be right there.
