I stared at Isolde, admiring the way her dark hair curled across her pillow. The peaceful look on her face gave me the strength to turn away. Korren’s words painted a reassuring picture amid the tense atmosphere. His assurances were a balm to my worries, and a sense of relief washed over me. She was okay. Our pup was okay.

Each of us placed a kiss on her forehead, and we departed the room. The prospect of taking her home and watching over her and our unborn pup brought a flicker of warmth to my heart. I held onto it, knowing I would need something to calm me during our discussion.

The second the door to the visiting room closed, Wynn addressed us. “The Council will be here the day after tomorrow.”

“They can’t find out she’s pregnant,” Bishop said without hesitation. “I won’t allow it.”

“I agree.” I crossed my arms over my chest, fighting back a growl. “So how do we hide it?”

“Leave that to me. Leighton’s friend should be here tonight,” Wynn replied. “We need to brief Isolde when she wakes up.”

I suppressed a shiver at the thought of a Witch inside Hidden Creek.

“Already?” I questioned. “Don’t you think we should give her at least a night of reprieve after the day she’s had?”

“Alaric’s right,” Bishop said. “We can tell her first thing in the morning. Let’s give her time to rest. Once we tell her about the Council, her stress will skyrocket.”

“Fine,” Wynn accepted, worry wrinkling his brow. “Tonight, we’ll spend time comforting our mate. Tomorrow, we prepare for the Council.”

Bishop carried Isolde across the threshold of our home, and a wave of anticipation and joy flooded the air. Wynn stood inside, a warm smile on his face, surrounded by vibrant flowers and cheerful balloons. We had adorned the house to celebrate her pregnancy and welcome her home.

Isolde’s laughter echoed through the room as she took in the decorations.

“Wow, you guys sure work fast. I could have sworn Korren said I was only asleep for five hours.”

“More than enough time for us to get the house ready for you,” I teased as Bishop gently placed her on the couch.

Her happiness was palpable, and her large blue eyes filled with tears as she looked between the three of us. I stepped forward, Bishop and Wynn at my side, my voice steady but brimming with emotion.

“You’re our world now.” I dropped to my knees before her and cupped her chin. “You know that, right? There aren’t words to describe what it felt like when we thought we lost you.”

“We were thrilled when we found out you were pregnant with our first child. We couldn’t have asked the Goddess for a greater blessing.” Bishop kissed her forehead, running the back of his knuckles over her cheek.

“We want you to understand just how treasured you are, Isolde.” Wynn kneeled beside me, holding Isolde’s gaze. “You are loved, and so is the child growing in your womb.” He cradled her hands in his. “And nothing will separate you from it, regardless of its rank. We vow this to you, Isolde. Our child will grow up in Hidden Creek among its pack, and nothing will stand in our way.”

“But what about—”

“Nothing,” he repeated.

She looked between us, tears staining her cheeks. “This could start a war.”

“One they’ll regret,” I said, my confidence unwavering.

“We’re going to have a full life, Isolde—a happy life.” Bishop’s words were raw, fueled with conviction. “The life we promised you.”

Isolde stood, wrapped her arms around Bishop, and crushed her mouth to his. Desire flooded our bond as she moved to Wynn, one hand still touching Bishop. When she turned to me, I was already hard, aching with the need to fill her and feel her wrapped around me.

I snatched her off the floor, heading for our bedroom as she squealed with delight. I dropped her on the bed and wasted no time pulling off her pants while Bishop ripped her top over her head.

She whimpered, the sound needy and wanton.

“I can’t wait to put my mouth on your pretty pussy,” Wynn said, spreading her thighs. “Are you going to flood my mouth with your sweet cream, my little mate?”

She bit her lip. “Yes.”

“Save some for me,” Bishop murmured before he kissed her.
