“Ready?” Hudson asked, positioning himself between our legs.

“Sooo ready,” I said, feeling Jax’s dick pulse inside of me, no doubt thinking of what was about to happen next.

“I love you both,” I sighed, relaxing against him.

He squeezed me tighter, whispering loving words in my ear at the same time as Hudson said, “We love you, too.”

Chapter Six

For a while, Hudson and Jax lay on either side of me in the queen-sized bed, cuddled close to comfort me. Whenever I would ask them something about what life was like as a vampire, they answered me, reassuring me that life would not be altogether different from the way I’d known it before.

“And neither of you have ever gone into a frenzy after the initial one?” I asked.

“No,” they answered simultaneously.

“So we don’t really know what sent Nico off the deep end,” I mused.

“I never realized what it would be like…” Jax trailed off.

I rolled over to face him, and Hudson spooned me from behind.

The twins seemed comfortable here with me, like they’d finally gotten over their initial shyness at sharing me with each other. Which was a good thing, because I intended for our coven to last a lifetime. Even if we had to defeat hell itself first.

“What it would be like…?” I prompted, running my hand down to Jax’s naked hip.

“To see Nico like that. Totally out of control. Completely out of his mind. He didn’t even recognize me.” Jax laid on his back, his eyes searching the ceiling for answers.

I put my hand on his chest. “Nico never wanted you to see him like that.”
