I looked down to my stomach, then back to him, not knowing what to do, this was new territory for me. ‘Sorry, I just didn’t know if you’d want me to come in you,’ he apologized and wiped his mess off me with the towel he’d thought to bring.
‘Yeah, that’s probably best if you don’t,’ I said, looking up at him.
‘Are you on the pill?’ he asked me, tossing the towel to the floor and lying down next to me, pulling me into him.
I shook my head, ‘No.’
‘Oh Jessa,’ he moaned disapproving, resting his head on my shoulder. ‘I wish you hadn’t just told me that.’
‘Why?’ I asked hesitantly.
‘Now I know I can’t do that again until I get some condoms.’ He kissed me. ‘And I really want to do that again,’ he leaned down to kiss me, ‘...and again…’
‘What makes you think this wasn’t a one-time deal?’ I teased.
‘Cupcake, you are stuck with me for life, that just sealed the deal.’
‘Is that so?’ I smiled in protest.
‘Absolutely.’ He pulled the blankets to cover us up, and in almost no time, he had fallen back to sleep as I laid in his arms, drifting in and out, but not falling into a deep sleep as Drew’s breathing indicated he had. I laid there until seven, but when I tried to get up, I felt an arm tighten around me.
‘What time is it?’ he asked in a sleepy voice not opening his eyes.
‘Almost seven,’ I responded.
‘Just ten minutes until my alarm goes off. Stay with me?’ he asked, pulling me closer to him, feeling his hard erection against my backside.
I was expecting him to go for round two last night, but he actually fell asleep. I couldn't blame him, he deserved it after the workout he’d given me.
Right now, screw the protection, I couldn’t resist his hard length pressed up against me. I turned in his arms to face him. I started grinding up against him. ‘Cupcake,’ he moaned sleepily.
‘Mmm?’ I egged him on, pushing him over so he was on his back and crawling on top of him so I was lying on him. I kissed him while his hands roamed all over my body, often settling on my ass that he was still so fond of. But we could only take so much before I was straddling him, lowering myself down on top of him, making love again.
When his alarm went off, we were both well sated and hardly able to move. ‘Join me for a shower?’ he asked.
‘I was going to go for a run first,’ I said staying in bed under the covers. ‘Want me to prepare something for breakfast while you’re showering?’
‘That would be great, but I think there’s far too much snow to run outside,’ he said, kissing me and walking to the bathroom stark naked. There was something to be said about a man with an ass like his. As I willed myself to leave the warmth of our love nest, I pulled on one of his t-shirts I found folded on top of the dresser; it smelled clean, so I went with it. There was no one else besides Drew and myself, there was no need to wear anything else, not even the panties I found on the floor outside the door with my nightdress from last night.I liked it like this. I never before had freedom as I did right now in any house I’d ever lived in. It finally hit me: this was our house, and we didn’t need to worry about anyone else.
I pulled some eggs and a baguette to start the French toast I wanted to make. I cut up some fruit while the bread cooked and the coffee was just about brewed when Drew walked out of the bedroom, wearing just his boxers. He was on his phone, ‘Yeah, I have some paperwork to wrap up here this morning so no worries, take your time. Let's meet in an hour and a half... it’s fine, I’ll still pay you your full day…no worries, see you then.’
He hung up and came up behind me and kissed my neck. ‘Good morning gorgeous.’ He had an uncanny way to make me feel like I was on top of the world, it wouldn’t take much to get used to this.
I filled two plates full of food as he poured two cups of coffee, adding cream and sugar to both.
‘Got some work today?’ I asked.
‘Yeah, that was Joe, texted me this morning. He had to bring his daughter to the hospital for an x-ray last night, he’s just getting back now. Which is good for me as I’m going to be late today too.’
‘What time do you normally start?’ I asked as he brought the coffee over to the table I was setting.
‘Now with it being winter, usually nine,’ he picked a grape and ate it. ‘But you know in the summer, sometimes six in the morning.’
I remembered the long hours he had put in that first summer. And this past summer, trying to get him on the phone some days was difficult due to the time difference and his work schedule. Yet, he always made time for me, it was something I selfishly hoped would never change.
‘You’ll have time,’ I said looking at the clock on the microwave.
He took the bowl of fruit from me, placed it back on the counter and lifted me up on to the cold hard granite. He had one hand around the back of my head, the other under my shirt caressing my breast. ‘I don’t think so,’ he whispered as he kissed me.
