“I left you a condom.” John jerked his head to the side. Benjamin, no longer pinned by Kailani, looked over to see the silver packet.
“Fuck me,” Kailani demanded, tipping her head back to look at him upside down. “Now.”
Benjamin leapt off the bed. His fingers trembled as he rolled on the condom. He circled to the foot of the bed. John had lain down beside Kailani, hooking one of her legs over his hip. Spreading her wide. Her pussy glistened, and the hand not buried in John’s hair was pulling on her own nipple, being far rougher with it than Benjamin had been.
Need and desire made his blood thick, his muscles trembling as he knelt between her legs.
Then he was in her, and damn but that felt good. More than good. It almost felt like coming home.
Luckily, he was too aroused to follow that train of thought. Benjamin pounded his cock into her pussy as John kissed her neck and played with her nipples.
When he was ready to come, when he knew from the sounds she made that she was close again, Benjamin sealed his lips on hers, stealing her breath as he pushed them both up, up, up, and then they tipped over that edge, falling down into the dark pleasure.
Chapter Thirteen
John came awake slowly when he heard voices next to him, the roar of the plane’s engine serving as white noise that muted their words to some extent. He blinked a few times, trying to rouse himself.
It was rare that he woke up confused and disoriented, but right now, after the past two days…
He scrubbed his face before pressing the button to bring his seat into an upright position.
They’d boarded Benjamin’s plane in the middle of the night, leaving Denver around three a.m. They’d managed a few hours’ sleep in the hotel, each of them falling into bed about eleven, after an afternoon of what could best be described as debauchery.
The first time they had sex it had been fast, almost frantic. The second time, they put Kailani on her hands and knees and John fucked her mouth while Benjamin took her from behind—a slow, almost punishingly hard fucking.
Then, almost in apology, John had lain her down on her back and settled between her legs. Benjamin stretched out beside her with his hand alternately around her throat and toying with her nipples.
After that they’d silently showered—not together—and crawled into bed. Benjamin had taken the downstairs room by himself, while Kailani had followed John to the upstairs bedroom. John had thought about telling Benjamin to join them, but he’d been too tired to deal with it, so he let it go, planning to talk about it when they woke up in the morning.
Instead, they’d been woken up only hours later when Benjamin came to tell them that the pilot called. They’d been cleared to fly to New York and the plane was fueled up and ready anytime they wanted to leave. Kailani had been unwilling to wait until morning, insisting that they leave the moment the airport cleared them for takeoff.
John didn’t blame her for her impatience. She’d been given an important role within the society, and watching the seriousness with which she took it told him the Trinity Masters had selected the right family…the right person for the job.
They hadn’t spoken since leaving Denver, exhaustion catching up with them. He’d fallen asleep a few minutes after the flight attendant told them it was safe to take off their seat belts. John had left his on because this fancy-ass plane was still a potential death trap. Benjamin had been snoring softly before they’d even reached cruising altitude.
John still couldn’t quite convince himself the events in that hotel suite had truly happened. When he’d initiated that first kiss with Kailani, he’d had reservations, uncertainty. Those doubts vanished the moment his lips touched hers, and they were vanquished forever when he looked over and saw the naked desire, the yearning in Benjamin’s gaze.
Benjamin had tried to walk away from him—from them—and that was when the last straw broke.
John wanted this trinity more than he’d ever wanted anything, and he would fight the two stubborn fools on this plane until the end of time if necessary to achieve his goal.
He’d wasted the past month being too passive, when he should have assumed a strong stance.
Last night, John found his weapon. And he was ready to wield it again.
Glancing across the aisle, he watched as Benjamin sipped coffee, the table before him set with a mouth-watering platter of pastries.
“Thank you,” Benjamin said to the flight attendant before spotting he was also awake. Keeping his voice low, he leaned toward him. “Would you like some breakfast, John? I doubt we’ll have time to grab something to eat once we land.”
John shook his head. Maybe he’d pay for that decision later, but right now, all he wanted was caffeine. “Just coffee, please,” he asked the flight attendant. “Black.”
“Just bring a pot, Joan,” Benjamin said, “and two more cups. I know Kailani will want some when she wakes up too.”
Joan excused herself as Benjamin said, “We’re about two hours out.”
Which meant he’d been dozing for two hours. It hadn’t been a restful sleep, so he actually felt as tired now as when he’d boarded the plane.
Kailani stirred, opening her eyes just seconds after the flight attendant delivered the pot and extra cups. “Do I smell coffee?”
