My body shudders as I slip the tip of my dick inside of her. Fuck. She feels so warm and wet, taking me inside of her. I press just the tip in and out of her as I reach down between her legs and rub circles over her clit.
I know we only have a few more moments before people are going to start wondering where we went, but fuck I don’t want to pull away yet. She lets out the smallest of whimpers, and the sound shoots any remaining blood in my body to my dick.
I groan in frustration, stepping back away from her before I get carried away. I shove my dick in the waistband of my pants because I know it’s not going to go down right away.
“I told Amanda,” Thea blurts out.
“What?” I spit out, sounding angrier than I intended.
???
Thea
“What?” Mack asks.
I squeeze my eyes shut, waiting a few seconds before turning around to face him.
“I told her everything. From the beginning.”
“Why the fuck would you do that?”
My heart sinks at his tone. I try to play it off so he doesn’t see my hurt. “I needed to talk to someone about it. She’s my best friend.”
“Thea, fuck…” he trails of, turning around and running his fingers through his hair.
“It’s not a big deal,” I say, shrinking further and further away from him.
He exhales harshly. “I just wish you would have told me. She’s out there all alone right now drinking. She could easily tell Trevor, and I’m not ready for that conversation.”
“She knows not to tell anyone,” I spit out, angry now more than I am hurt. “You’re being such a prick.”
“I feel like you’re not taking this seriously enough. Do you really want to have that talk with him today?”
I’m so annoyed. I need to get away from him to cool off. “Whatever. You’re probably right. This is all too complicated.”
“Thea…” he tries, but I’m already pushing past him out of the laundry room.
I rush out to the back before he can try to talk his way out of the situation. I find Amanda out back flirting with someof the neighbors. She stops mid conversation when she sees me coming toward her.
She meets me halfway, throwing her arms around my waist. “What’s going on, sweetie?” she asks, being able to tell I’m upset just by looking at me.
“It’s nothing,” I say with a sigh. “Can we just make this a girls’ night? I need a break from men.”
She immediately comes to my defense, walking us both further away from the guys on the beach. “Of course. Let’s get ourselves some more drinks.”
I laugh, linking my arm with hers. “Perfect. I’m thinking tequila shots.”
“Oof,” she says. “That bad?”
“I don’t even want to talk about it.”
Chapter 29
Mack
My knuckles turn white from squeezing the camping chair armrest so hard. I fucked up. I know I fucked up. I just don’t know how to fix it.
Thea has been ignoring me all night. Every time I’ve attempted to talk to her, she’s blown me off, but mostly she’s been avoiding coming near me altogether. I take another swig of my beer as I watch her dance with Amanda by the fire. The dumbfucks from across the lake made their way over to the party, and they’re all lurking way too close to her. The air cooled down when the sun set, but all these frat boys still aren’t wearing clothes.
