The kids normally would have eaten what we were but they all had watched some documentary that scarred them for several months on eating meat.

I thought it was hilarious when they all went vegan for a while as their parents normally had problems getting them to eat veggies.

That documentary helped with that for quite a while until Hawk decided he missed steak too much to keep eating salads all the time.

After that, all the kids went back to eating meat but they also eat more veggies now instead of giving their parents problems.

“Is she okay?” Bella asks, spotting me at the door.

“Yeah, she’s not sick. She’s just getting depressed I think with missing her husband. She’s getting dressed. Do you two mind watching the girls for a while? I’m going to take her out for a bit. She needs to get out of this house for a while.”

“Are you going to tell us exactly how you know her?” Bella raises her brows curiously.

“I’ll fill you in later. Timber told me everything.” Mina tells her and Bella doesn’t look surprised that she already knows.

“Thank you both. Seriously, this club wouldn’t know what to do without you.”

“You’re family, Snake. We’ve always got your back.” Mina grins, turning back to the kids. “How would you all like to have a slumber party over at our house?”

“Yeah! We could watch movies all night in the theater room my dad just had built!” Hawk pipes up and all the kids seem excited with the prospect.

Hearing Andi’s bedroom door open, I turn to see her coming out and I look at her from head to toe.

The woman is a dream come to life. Her jeans fitting her as if made for only her and a shirt that does nothing to hide those fantastic fucking breasts I’d love to rub my cock between.

I grind my back teeth to calm myself before everyone sees the hardness in my own jeans trying to pop out the front.

I still want this woman with every fiber of my being and I’m not sure how to proceed with her. It still feels wrong, even with Hank gone.

I’m not sure I can be so fucking close to her and not touch her.

Andi

Being on the back of Gabe’s bike is the most freeing feeling I’ve ever experienced in my life. I absolutely loved it and hope he allows me to ride with him more often.

He brought me to a place called the Blackcat Bar and Grill. It looks like any other small town, hole in the wall bar except the atmosphere is a little different.

As we walked in, everyone we passed greeted Gabe as Snake. The nickname has me curious as to how he got it but if I remember him as well as my dreams seem to, it’s no wonder he’s called Snake.

We sit at a booth in the far corner and each time the waitress comes by, he orders me another drink. I’m probably on my fourth one when I seem to relax even more into my seat.

Staring at him across the table, I let him carry most of our conversation while I take the opportunity to just look at him. I’m in full fledged fantasy mode when his chuckle brings me back to the present.

“What?” I ask as innocently as possible.

“What’re you thinking so hard about over there?”

“Nothing. I’m not thinking about anything.” I say quickly, bringing my drink up to my mouth and taking a gulp.

“You might want to slow down on those.” He nods to the drink in my hand.

“Why is that? Apparently I don’t have the girls to worry about tonight.”

“No. You don’t. But the last time we were drinking together...” He leaves the thought hanging in the air.

We sit there, staring back and forth at each other, each of us I’m sure remembering that night. That one beautiful night we shared together. The one night I’ve wished so many times had been repeated over the years.

Still holding his gaze, I reach for my drink and turn it up until it’s completely gone. Sitting it on the table, I say, “I need another one.”
