Page 80 of You Will Obey

These past few hours had been filled with so much fear, uncertainty, and loss. To be standing there in the glorious sunlight made it all worth it. Every death of my line, a sacrifice that made those surviving and future vampires all the more powerful. I felt wetness on my cheek and wiped it away. I looked down at my fingers at the tear, so foreign to me. I stepped outside and felt the heat all around me.

The dragons and wolves who were standing guard were looking at me in awe. I decided to address them. “I’ve defeated Alexander, as I’m sure you know. I want to thank you all for your aid and sacrifice, both of which I do not take lightly. Please, return to your homes, the war is done.”

My wolves, those under Josef, left without another word to return to their homes. Some lived in New Haven, most in River Rock.

“With all due respect, King Ara, we have to wait until given command from our Knights to leave,” one of the dragons said.

“Gather our dead, then return,” Tylendel said as he came up from behind. I turned to see that he still looked a bit drained after using so much of hisPurefire.

“Sir, are you all right?” one of his dragons asked, and took a step closer to him.

“As a matter of fact, Dell, you can stay.” Tylendel looked at the others. “As for the rest of you, I’ve given my command. Find Vex, and let him know as well.”

The dragons bowed their heads, and gathered the bodies they could hold, then all took off to the skies. As I looked up at them, I wondered if I would be able to fly now like Alexander could. “Beautiful,” I said under my breath.

“This must be so amazing for you. To be able to walk in the sun without fear of being killed by it,” Tylendel said.

I nodded. I had to see if my other vampires were as fortunate. I called to Horace, I needed to know. He appeared in the doorway, hidden in the shadows away from the sun and bowed his head.

“My King,” he said, then waited for me to give him a command.

“Step outside,” I said.

He looked at me, his muscles tensing. “My King? You want me to commit suicide? Have I not pleased you?”

“What I want is for you to obey and not question my commands,” I said.

He swallowed hard and I gave him a warning look as I would not be challenged by any of my vampires. Every second he delayed, he risked my wrath. He took a slow step out from the shadows and the light of the sun touched the right side of his body. His eyes were closed at first and he opened them immediately when his skin did not burn.

“My god,” he gasped, then took another step until he was completely outside and standing beside me. He looked around in awe and touched his skin. “I live… oh, my King, I live.”

I nodded. “And now I know that all of my vampires are now safe from the sun.” I looked at Tylendel. “The fire test, if you don’t mind. And venom?”

“What?” Horace blurted out, but before he could react, Tylendel came up from behind and bit him.

He cried out and struggled in vain to break free, but it was no use. Even drained of energy, Horace couldn’t break Tylendel’s hold. And he was no young vampire, he was old enough to be awake during the day. I’d always been impressed by Tylendel and a bit jealous that he belonged to Kendrick now. I watched as the powerful Knight’s venom worked its way through Horace’s bloodstream, going straight to his cock, making it hard instantly. No longer was dragon venom a threat to my vampires, or werewolf venom for that matter, as Tylendel had the dual venoms like my son, Théoden. Oh, this was marvelous. Tylendel pulled away, grabbed Horace’s hand, putting it into his fire and there was no damage. Of course, Horace was too crazed with lust to notice the miracle, too busy grinding himself against Tylendel.

Tylendel released my Lord and nodded. “Looks like you’re all very powerful now, King Ara,” he said.

Horace turned into Tylendel, trying desperately to kiss the dragon, but the dragon kept him at bay. “I’d like to know if we have venom as well, as Alexander had,” I said.

Théoden joined us now and walked over to me. “Father, this is unbelievable,” he said as his gray eyes roamed over my body, then to Horace, who was still struggling to get fucked. The smile and look of awe on his face said everything I’d been feeling.

I reached up and caressed his face. “My child, I am very happy that you have survived. Your loss would have been too great.”

He smiled and kissed me, and I kissed him back, then I grabbed a handful of his long hair and yanked his head to the side, then struck. He gasped and gripped my arm, but didn’t try to free himself. He knew better. I pulled away after taking a few swallows of his blood. He sighed and took a step back once I released his hair.

“Do I have dragon and wolf venom?” I asked.

“I wish,” Théoden said with a bit more attitude in his tone than I liked, and I cocked an eyebrow to let him know that I didn’t appreciate it. He cleared his throat and shook his head. “No, Sire, it hurts, as it always does.”

I pouted slightly, because that was one power I would have loved to have gained. Very well. “I will see if I have the power of flight later. For now, I am very pleased with what we have accomplished,” I said, then turned to Horace, who Tylendel was keeping in check with one arm while my Lord was trying to grab at his cock, chest, ass, any part of the dragon.

“Feel free to fuck him along with your dragon to regain your strength, my dear Knight,” I said, giving him permission.

“Well, this little vampire is in for a treat,” Tylendel said, then took Horace back inside the sanctuary.

I looked around my city to see so many bodies, so much death had taken place. I’d lost one of my oldest sons and now that the war was over, I could finally mourn him. I looked at Théoden. “I know you have lost two sons, my child. I am sorry.”
