I managed to catch Théoden giving Dante a slow side glance before returning his cruel gaze to me. “Do you know why Dante remains quiet?”
“Because he’s your son and can’t defy you, no matter what, Sir,” I replied.
“Exactly. It’s not that he doesn’t want to help you. It’s not like he’s enjoying what’s happening right now, but unlike you, he understands our dynamic. Now, I’ll ask you this last time, do I need to proceed with further discipline?”
I shook my head. “N–no, Sir.” I winced from the pain in my scalp and in my neck.
Théoden released my hair finally and I rose off his lap quickly, then looked down at him.
“I’m not one you can play those types of games with, not ever. Are we clear?” Théoden asked me.
“We are clear, Sir,” I said.
“You can go change your pants now and you’re welcome for that orgasm I gave you,” Théoden winked.
I looked at Dante again and his expression was apologetic to say the least. My body felt like a furnace about to explode, I was so enraged. My vision was almost blurry as I struggled to not lash out from the level of frustration I felt. I turned and made my way back into my mansion. As soon as I was in the privacy of my bedroom, I screamed, releasing all of the rage I had been holding on to for dear life. I grabbed the large chest and was about to throw it across the room when I paused. This was me not being able to control my temper. I took several deep breaths, then several more before my grip on the chest loosened and I put it back in its place.
I let my head fall back as I forced myself to calm down and when I felt like I had a grip on my emotions, I walked into the bathroom and stripped out of my clothes. The bite marks had long since healed and my blood had replenished itself, so I felt invigorated again. I washed the cum from my groin and Théoden’s scent off my body. He had great taste in cologne, but even that stinked to me at the moment. I wanted every trace of him removed from my flesh.
I climbed out and grabbed a towel just as Dante entered our bedroom and stood in the doorway. I walked past him when I exited the bathroom and made my way into my large walk-in closet. He had his own. He was quiet at first, then he came in behind me as I was slipping on a pair of black pants.
“I’m sorry that happened, baby,” he said.
“That makes two of us,” I said calmly, then flipped through my selection of T-shirts to find one I wanted to wear.
“You can’t challenge him like that,” Dante stated.
I tossed him a look that didn’t hold the emotions I was really feeling at the moment. Betrayal, anger, shame, and overall annoyance. Instead, my expression was blank, because I didn’t want Dante to know what I was feeling.
I pulled a shirt off the hanger and slipped it on, then looked at him. “It’s done and over with now. As always, yourDaddyswung his dick around and I got slapped in the face with it. Don’t worry, Dante, I understand that if it comes down between him or me, you’ll always choose him.”
He grabbed my arm before I could walk past him. “You think I enjoyed that show he put on with you?”
I snatched my arm away. “Did you?”
He scoffed, his eyebrows deeply creased as his lips drew up in a snarl. “How in the fuck could you even think that?”
“Because you didn’t even try to defend me,” I snapped.
“Fuck, Josef, you keep antagonizing him and don’t pretend like you don’t, because you do. You can’t stand the fact that you lost that battle and control of your pack. I accept it because I know that some things can’t be changed. And you’re my world, okay? You are. I love you. But I also know that we both belong to Théoden whether you like it or not,” Dante replied.
I wanted to cross my arms over my chest, but it would only make it look more obvious that I was sulking. “I will never be the domesticated wolf he wants.”
Dante sighed. “I honestly don’t even think he wants that… not entirely.”
“He wants me to know my place.”
“Until you decided to get rude, our night was going well. And before you start, this isn’t me taking his side. It’s me pointing out the truth. You were able to hold a regular conversation with him without having to say ‘Sir’. I can’t even do that.”
“When we established the expectations of our arrangement, he said he’d let me save face,” I reminded Dante.
“And he kept his word. Besides, how often has Théoden interfered with what we do with our Pack?”
I didn’t say anything.
“I’m expecting a reply, Josef.”
I huffed. “Not often. But it’s not like we need his constant meddling. I know how to run a powerful pack, was doing so long before he even brought his ass to this country. When I was a Beta-Capo and had control over wolves in my district, before I became Alpha.”
