He doesn’t waste another second and drops gently back onto me, letting me feel every twitch of his stone-hard dick and enjoy every swipe of his tongue. Kai groans, turning my skin into a canvas of goosebumps drawn out by him and him only.
“Fuck.” He breaks away only to say that before smashing his lips to mine again, owning me with his mouth.
He grinds into me, making my clit throb with need at the proximity, and because it’s too much to bear, my hands move on his back, looking for something to hold on to. They land in his hair, tightening on the messy strands of hair. I bite his bottom lip, letting the wave take me as far as possible from my mind the moment I realize this is the first time my brain has been so quiet.
A small moan escapes me, and I meet his thrusts, my panties wetting by the second.
“Tell me to stop,” he murmurs through our kiss, and I shake my head, not wanting this to end. “Tell me to stop because if we continue, I won’t be able to stop myself.”
His words are somehow in the distance to me, very far away from the world I just entered. I circle my legs around him and land on top, and even though I don’t know how the hell I didthat, I don’t think about it and only increase the friction that drives me crazy in a way I forget who I am. I grind his shaft, my eyes rolling in my head as our kiss deepens.
“Esmeray.” He breaks away. “Fuck, you feel so good,” Kai continues, his palms grabbing my ass. “Please, tell me to stop.”
I remove myself from the kiss, and with my knees placed on each side of his legs, I move up and down on his dick, holding my hair with one hand while the other one grazes at his chest.
He tries to keep me steady with his hands, but it’s impossible from where he’s lying.
“You’re so damn sexy,” he murmurs. “You’re a fucking goddess, Ray. Do you know that?” His fingers pinch my nipple through my clothes, and I moan, this time louder than I intended to. “I want you, but we have to stop.” He breathes heavily for a few seconds, the air leaving his mouth somehow brushing my ears. “I’m going to come if you don’t stop.”
My eyes snap open, and I slowly ease the pace until I’m not moving anymore. A drop of blood pools on his lip, his teeth buried deep inside. His eyes trace every shape of my body with the same hunger he watched me with before, while his palms squeeze my hips before continuing their way up and stopping right under my breasts, where my nipples are peeking through the material.
“I—”
“You’re stunning,” he murmurs, licking the blood away. “And you drive me crazy, so don’t overthink this as me not wanting you. Believe me, that’s not the problem.”
My cheeks flush. I ground on him with no shame, all while he begged me to stop.
How could I do something like that?
I place my palms in front of my face, wanting to keep myself away from his eyes.
He doesn’t let me though. Kai takes my hands, one by one, and lifts my chin with his finger. “Don’t hide from me, Ray, and listen to what I have to say,” Kai tells me, and I take a deep breath, deciding to at least give him that. “If I didn’t make that clear until now, I want you, but that doesn’t mean you’re ready for it. I’d break you in a second,” he murmurs, putting a strand of hair behind my ear. “But I promise you one thing—I’m not the type to leave things unfinished, and that’s something you’ll see on our wedding day.”
THIRTY-FIVE
ESMERAY
This is the forty-eighth dress I’ve tried on, and even if I don’t like it, I’mthisclose to choosing it just so the constant changing will be done. I’m already sweating, the nice lady behind me probably cursing her day for how many times she’s had to put me in a dress and take me out of one.
At least Kai paid her and her team good money to get to our house.
When I was supposed to marry Carter, none of this happened. The dress was delivered to me, along with the heels and accessories—none of them chosen by me. My parents had the final word on everything, so I didn’t bother trying to win when I knew I was setting myself up for failure.
This wedding is different though. I get to choose what I wear, what perfume I’ll have on, what theme color I want—even if I wanted purple, I changed my mind to the classic white—and Kai even trusted me enough to let me talk to the tailor about the suit he’s going to wear.
Sure, at first it was exciting, but now it’s immensely overwhelming. Especially with the blushing thoughts at the memory of last night in my mind.
“There you go,” the tall woman behind me says after zipping my dress up. “I think you’re going to really like this one.” She opens the door back to our room where Raven and Lacey are waiting.
I was surprised to find out Lacey flew to New York just for my dress fitting today. She's been a great help too, even though she practically steps on every dress I try, telling me if it makes my boobs too small, my stomach too big, or my body look like I’m made of stone.
“You said that ten dresses ago,” I joke and lift the material a bit so I can walk on the little stool Nova, the wedding assistant, came with.
Raven’s mouth falls to the ground, and Lacey pushes herself out of the bed, jumping to me. I lift my brows at my sister while Lacey circles me like a tiger, analyzing every seam with a finger on her chin. Raven tilts her head back, widening her eyes as if she doesn’t know what she’s doing, but she gives me a thumbs-up.
Lacey comes back in front of me, covering the lower part of her face with her palms. “My brother is going to pass out,” she tells me, a huge smile on her lips when she removes her hands.
“Because… I look horrible?” I try, knowing this is the only thing she didn’t tell me today.
