“Okay, relax. It’s not the end of the world. He’s a kid who wanted to have a little bit of fun.”

“Don’t tell me to relax. I know you do not respect how I have chosen to raise my son, but you are here as a member of my staff. I expect you to carry out my directives to the T.”

“I do respect how you’re raising Ethan. I just think you’re a little too rigid with him. He’s very young. All children at his age want to do is have fun. He’s living a highly restricted life and I think that will stunt his growth.”

“Really? And is it your years of expertise in child psychology that inform this opinion?”

She rolls her eyes. “I don’t have to be a child psychologist to see that all your son wants to do is cut loose.”

“Cut loose? What three-year-old needs to cut loose? How stressful is his life that he needs to cut loose?”

“Ethan is basically a mini adult. No child should have to live like that. The only thing he should be worried about is eating, playing, and sleeping. I understand you want the best for your son, but I don’t think this is the way to go about it.”

“I appreciate your concern, but this is what the experts say is best for him, and I trust the experts.”

“The experts once believed that Earth was flat. So much so that they put anyone who disagreed with them to death. Experts don’t know everything. I speak from experience when I tell you that this is going to backfire in your face.”

“What?”

“I was raised in a similar way and all it did was push me away from my parents.” She sighs. “Look, it’s obvious with anyone with eyes that you love your son, but I promise, if you continue like this, a time will come when he will pull away from you.”

“I’m sorry you had such a horrible childhood, but your experience with your parents isn’t going to be my son’s experience with me. This is what’s best for him. So this is what we’re going to do.”

She throws her hands up and yells. “Why are you being so stubborn about this?”

I step toward her. “Well excuse me if I’m not thrilled about my son breaking rules. I don’t want him growing up thinking the rules don’t apply to him.”

“I understand that, but these are nonsensical rules. If you ask me, they are meant to be broken.”

“Well I guess it’s a good thing I’m not asking you then.”

She steps up to me.

“God…you’re so bull-headed.”

I huff and close the distance between us, looking down at her with my heart beating through my chest. “Look who’s calling me bull-headed.”

We’re both breathing heavily at this point.

And there they are again.

Her breasts.

This time they are heaving in my face.

I feel it; my resolve breaking.

Suddenly, it’s as if my body goes into auto-pilot.

Before I know it, I am on her. My hands grab her soft hair as I hold her in position and crush my lips down on hers.

Her hands go around my neck automatically and she kisses me just as ardently in return.

I am lost in Naomi. The smell of her apple shampoo, the feel of her velvety skin, the sounds she is making. If I weren’t already in ecstasy, the noises she’s making would’ve pushed me over the edge.

I throw her down on one of the couches and fit my body between her legs. I pull away from her lips and trail kisses down her neck, all the while writhing against her.

My hand goes to her breast. I squeeze and she yells with pleasure. Through the thin material of her shirt, her nipples have peaked. I squeeze one and her whole body vibrates beneath me.
