“You shouldn’t lean over the boat like that, Noelle. Don’t you know what your ass does to me?” he teased.

Noelle laughed and gave her butt a little shake. “Do you ever tire of being on a boat since it is your job? I don’t think I could ever tire of this.” She motioned around them. “There is so much to see and experience. And, of course, you know how much I love looking for shells.”

He moved closer to her and pulled her down onto his lap. “Never. This is my life. I feel as if the sea is a part of my family. And I feel you are taunting me with your ass. Are you taunting me, little lamb?” Demetri squeezed her ass with one hand under her bottom and swept his other hand up her thigh.

Noelle’s eyes widened. She was already wet. He had that effect on her. But what if they got caught? “Not here! What if someone comes?”

“I hope the two of us come soon.” He squeezed her thigh. “No one is around us, koukla. We are alone in this cove.”

He pulled his hand out from under her bottom and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into a kiss. She ran her fingers through his hair as the waves splashed against the boat and they made love to each other’s mouths. One of his hands slid back up her leg and she let out a giggle.

“Don’t laugh. I can’t help I’m ticklish.”

“Hmmm, maybe I should test your body for more ticklish areas. I think this would be a good time, don’t you?” He slid his hand farther up under her skirt, between her legs, and she was sure he could feel her wetness already waiting for him. Demetri stroked Noelle, and she whimpered.

“I want you so badly, Demetri,” she whispered.

Demetri groaned in agreement, and they soon filled the cove with the sounds of pleasure.

Noelle basked in post sexual bliss the entire ride back to his houseboat and then the drive to the hotel. By the time he’d parked his car, she was barely aware they had arrived, and then she made her way to the room. Somewhere inside of their travels, they’d discussed meeting that evening for a night of dancing with their friends, and she was all too excited to see him again.

Claire, Noelle, and Caroline spent the rest of the day exploring the area and talking about the adventures they’d experienced so far. Seated on some benches near their hotel, Noelle showed them her anklet. She explained the significance, happiness oozing from her pores. “It shocked me when he gave it to me. I know he said he doesn’t do love, and I went into this willingly knowing that, but a part of me hopes for more, hopes that maybe he’ll change his mind. I feel like he might’ve changed his mind.”

Claire and Caroline exchanged looks.

“What?” Noelle asked.

Caroline reached out and placed her hand on Noelle’s arm. “Noelle, as much as I want to tell you it’ll all work out, I want you to be prepared. Maybe he is changing his mind. But a lot of people have flings like this all the time and it doesn’t mean anything. We’re so happy you’ve had these amazing experiences, but we worry you’ll be heartbroken if he doesn’t want more.”

Noelle’s stomach sank. “Is that what you think too, Claire?”

Claire just nodded.

“Well, I suppose you’re right, but there isn’t much I can do about it now. I’ll try to enjoy my time with him and do my best not to hope for more.” She stood up. “I’m going to get some water. I’ll be back soon.”

Claire jumped up and grabbed her hand. “Noelle, you know we love you and support you in whatever you do. We’re just worried about you and don’t want you to be hurt. We like Demetri, but if he said he isn’t up for anything serious...”

“I know. Thanks.” Noelle walked away from Claire and Caroline.I know they have my best interests at heart. They’re right. I’m falling in love and I know it might be a bad idea. I suppose I’m being foolish. They don’t need to tell me. But they also don’t know how we are together. There’s a pull. It’s magnetic and natural. It’s right. The charm anklet means something. I mean something to him, I can feel it. Hopefully, he’ll realize it. If he doesn’t, if I’m wrong, well, I made my own choices. I’m a grown woman, and I’ll be the one to deal with them when the time comes.

The girls finished exploring with a lot less conversation amongst them and then went back to the hotel to clean up and get ready to meet the guys. What little talk they did share had nothing to do with Demetri.

Later that evening, Demetri and Yannis met the girls at the club the men owned. Blaring music filled the room as people danced and mingled the night away. As the evening progressed, the tension between the girls dissipated, and they had fun dancing with the guys. Noelle tried not to think about her friends’ concerns.Just have fun. Live in the moment.

The music slowed, and Noelle and Demetri danced in each other’s arms. Noelle looked up into his eyes, and he smiled and kissed her tenderly on the lips. The heat between them was palpable. He pulled her away fromthe dance floor and told the others they would be back soon. He wanted to show her his office. They walked to a room towards the back of the club. Pushing the door open, he led her into a room with a large black desk and a plush gray couch. There were beautiful Greek vases displayed all around the room.

He closed the door after they entered. “What do you think of my office?”

“It’s very nice. Your vases are beautiful.” Noelle slid her hand along the shelves.

He smiled and walked towards her. “You are beautiful, Noelle. I like your red dress.” The dress belonged to Claire. It had spaghetti straps and pretty ruffles around the short hem. It flared at the waist and fit snug around the bodice, and even though it hugged her curves, she felt beautiful.Demetri always makes me feel beautiful.

He wrapped his arms around her.

“Demetri, we should go back. They will get suspicious if we are gone too long.” She wanted to stay in his arms forever.

“What will they get suspicious about?” he asked innocently as he pushed her up against the wall.
