Page 80 of Venomous Vows

Her fingers lace through my hair as I move inside her. All time stops. All problems cease. It’s her and me, and that’s all I need.

My future wife.

“Marry me, Elena,” I say into her heated skin. “I want you. And go fuck yourself if you tell me you don’t want me too.”

I feel her freeze against me, but it doesn’t stop me from continuing with what I’m doing and how I’m going to make us both come.

“Adrian—”

“I promise I’ll take care of you. I’ll never cheat on you. You’re mine as much as I am yours. Take it,piccola diavola. I cangive you everything you’ll ever need, and I’ll love you more than anyone ever has.”

“You love me?”

Shit.

I bite down on her neck, not ready to divulge those feelings. That kind of sentiment that I might not be able to follow.

I can promise Elena the world, but I’m not sure if I really have a heart.

Either way, it won’t stop me from obtaining what I want and that’s her.

“Say yes,” I order, finding her clit and taking the easy option to make her come, hoping it’ll get her to freely give me the answer I want. “Tell me you want me.”

“I want this,” she replies, evading my need to get us to that final step. “But…oh God…Adrian, slow down.”

“Your body says different. And your brain is fucking around with everything else.”

“Let me think.”

“I don’t like when you think. It never works in my favor.”

“Because it’s probably right.”

“It’s wrong,” I retort. “Always fucking wrong. I’m good for you. There isn’t anyone else who can give you what I can.”

“I need…” Her fingers clench harder in my hair. “I need freedom. I can’t be under your thumb.”

“Deal.”

She shakes her head. “You’re a mob boss.”

“I’ll be your husband.”

“And that comes first.”

“It won’t always. I’m not new at this, Elena. I can balance both.”

“I don’t know you.”

“You know me.” I pull my head from the crook of her neck and look down at those blue eyes. “You fucking know everything about me. I haven’t changed.”

She frowns, body jolting from each thrust I give her. “You don’t know what you’re asking. You’re not like everyone else.”

“And that’s a problem?”

“No,” she quickly says. “But I can’t…I have a business. We haven’t even dated.”

“I’ll take you on plenty of dates after we’re married.” Her brows pinch together. “I’ll take you on one tonight.”
