“Do you even have clearance for that?”

“Mike, don't ask stupid questions. You know I have unlimited access to whatever the hell I want!”

He laughs. “I’ll need to see your identification then.”

“You motherfucker, you know I never carry that thing with me!”

“Well, I can’t really just let anyone in. It’ll cost you!”

“Fuck, you’re gonna fleece me?” She shakes her head. “Wanker! Should have waited for Tango to be on. At least he’s nice to me!”

“Liar, Tango is not nice to anyone!”

“Fair point, damn it!” She rests her hands on the counter. “What’s it gonna cost?”

“You know that thing you do that I really love!”

“Really?”

“Yep!”

“In front of my husband and my brothers…? Fuck’s sake, Mike! I’m trying to be cool here!”

He’s nodding the whole time. “Do it!”

“Give it to me!”

He hands her a Rubik's cube and a blindfold, and she turns it over and over in her hands before turning to us, “Can one of you put that on me, please?” she asks, shaking her head. Steel steps up and ties the blindfold on before stepping back. We all move so we can see, and she says to Mike. “You got the timer?” He just nods.

“If you’re nodding right now, Mike, I can't fucking see you, you twat!”

To which he laughs, “Yeah, I've got it, three, two, one, go!”

She starts turning and twisting, and the only sound that can be heard is the turning of the cube. It's like we’re all holding our breaths. She slams it down on the counter and rips the blindfold off, “How long?”

“12.98 seconds.” he laughs out. “So, so close! That's the fastest yet.”

“Fuck! I’m fucking coming for you, Tommy!”

She laughs out, and we all just look at each other what the fuck’s going on? “Who the fuck is Tommy?” I shake my head as I’ve no idea what just happened.

“Never mind! Do we get in now?”

She grins at Mike and waves the completed Rubik’s cube at him. He snatches it up and starts messing it up again. “Sure, but I'm gonna mess it up real good for next time!”

“Yeah, you do that, Mike!”

She lifts the flap in the counter, and we all walk through. As she opens the door, she grins and walks through. “Holy shit! This place is huge!

“Bulletproof vests are this way.” She turns and heads to the left.

They’re top-of-the-range military-grade Kevlar reinforced, but so light and thinner than any other I’ve seen. “No way this shit works!”

She’s just grinning. “Try one at the gun range if you like!”

We all grab one, and she goes to walk off. Steel turns and winks at us. “Hey, baby.” He walks up to her and grabs her for a steamy kiss. He has her back against the shelving in seconds, and we all separate and disappear. I mean, when are we gonna get a chance to do this again?

I hear her laugh. “Devious man!” And then she jumps on him, and we run, fuck this place is huge.
