Chapter Nine

Jasper

As I was driving home my phone went off and Finn name pops up. I stop at the red light and answer the phone.

“Hey Finn what’s going on?”

“We got a problem that we need to deal with.”

“What is it?”

“Linda showed up at the park and Jordan was scared and Levy was pissed. I’m at the house now get home as soon as you can.”

“I’m up the block see you in a bit.” I hang up the phone and toss it. I warned her to stay away from him and from this town. When I got home Finn was walking out of the living room.

“How are they?” I ask with concern.

“Jordan is asleep in Levy’s arms, he was really shaken up when he saw Linda.”

“Damn, what are we going to do about her?”

“That’s what I was going to ask you.”

“Give me a minute.” He gives me a nod and I walk into the living room Jordan was sleeping in Levy’s arms with his hand gripping her shirt. Fucking hell this is going to set him back a bit he was doing so good until she showed up.

“Hey baby how are you?”

“Irritated.” Levy says in a quiet but sharp tone. I kiss the top of her head.

“I will handle Linda.”

“You better or I will. Jasper you should’ve seen him he was terrified when he saw her he screamed for me and ran into my arms and wouldn’t let go he still hasn’t and he’s asleep.”

“Finn and I will handle her don’t worry.” Levy nods her head and I kiss her softly and kiss my son’s forehead. I walk back out of the room and Finn followed me out of the house.

“What are we going to do?” Finn asks.

“You already warned her she’s not going anywhere near him ever again.”

“Understood.” I got into Finn’s car and we started to track down Linda.

“Where could she be?” I groan in irritation.

“Don’t worry I placed a tracker on her the last time I saw her.” Why am I not surprised that he did that.

Finn started driving faster down the street from the looks of the neighborhood Linda is most likely near her old place.

“Do you want me to take care of this?”

“Yeah I think you should. You warned her twice not to come back here and you look like you need some control back.” Finn looks at me and gives me a nod. He look sadier than usual today and I don’t like it. I hope he finds Lydia soon if he doesn’t it just might kill him.

“Stay in the car.” Finn says as he gets out of the car. I stay put as Finn gets a bag out of his trunk and starts walking off looking at his phone. You can feel the stress and irritation flow off his body, him not able to find Lydia is killing him and the fact he doesn’t know if she’s okay or not is driving him insane. Everytime he gets close to her she slips through his fingers I don’t know what I would do if Levy ever slipped through my fingers like that. As the time goes by I start to get anxious, right when I was about to leave the car Finn walked up and he looks calm and that’s not always a good thing.

“You don’t have to worry about her anymore.” He says as he starts up the car.

“Thank you. Finn you will find her.” He stops driving and looks at me with sorrow in his eyes.

“How do you know that?”
