“Maybe you will learn to stay out of trouble this time.” He starts cutting my stomach and I scream. He makes small cuts and small stabs I try to push him off, but I couldn’t do it.

“Stop please stop.” He stabs me one more time a little deeper before getting off of me and walks away. His friend comes over and start cleaning up my wounds and I winced. I jolted up in a a sweat grabbing my stomach where the scar is.

“Baby what’s wrong?”

“Nothing I’m fine.”

“Baby you are not fine tell me what’s going on?”

“Nothing.” I yelled. I got off the bed trying to catch my breath.

“Where are you going?”

“I need some air.” I walk out of the room and lift up my shirt and rub where the scar is you can’t see any of my scars they are all hidden under my tattoos. I walk out to the back yard and took a deep breath and slowly let it out with tears running down my face. I’m not that girl anymore I’m safe now he can’t hurt me no more. I wipe away my tears and took another deep breath before going back in the house. I shouldn’t have snapped at Jasper like that he was worried I should’ve told him what was going on and what happened at the bar. I will apologize in the morning. I open Jordan’s door and he was fast asleep. I slowly walk in and close the door quietly. Laying down next to him puts my mind from going to bad thoughts knowing that he’s safe in the house with people that love him and that he will never go through being hurt again. Watching Jordan sleep relaxes my whole body and I start drifting to sleep.

As I was waking up Jordan was still asleep I slowly walk out of his room and I bump into Thea.

“Jasper is looking for you he looks worried.”

“Where is he?” I ask feeling guilty I should’ve went back to bed and I shouldn’t have snapped at him.

“In the backyard.”

“Thanks.” I walk to the backyard and wrap my arms around Jasper waist.

“I’m sorry I snapped at you last night.”

“What happened last night?” He asks nervously.

“I had a bad dream and I wasn’t ready to talk about it, I’m still not ready.” Jasper turns around and cups my face.

“Levy I will always be here for you protect you but I need to know who I’m protecting you from. I love you and I will do anything for you.”

“I know that and I love you too. I’m just not ready to talk about it just yet.”

“Okay I won’t push as long as you do tell me what’s bothering you.”

“I will.” He kisses me softly and gives me a smile.

“I was thinking of taking Jordan to the park will that be okay?”

“Of course you don’t need to ask he’s your son now. I have to scare someone today so it will be just you and Jordan at the park.”

“Okay stay safe.”

“Always.” When we walk inside Jordan was walking towards us already dressed.

“Hey sweetie how do you feel about going to the park with me.”

“Yes sounds fun Mom.”

“I’m going to get dressed and we will head to the park.” I put on a pair of shorts and a T-shirt then walk back down the stairs and Jordan had a small bag that had drinks and snacks in it.

“Are you ready kiddo?”

“Yes let's go to the park.” When we got to the park we play tag for a bit and than he went to the swing and I push him on it.

“Drink some water.” He grabs the bottle of water and drank half the bottle and I drank the other half of it.
