“Do you want us to come with you?” Jasper asks, even though he already knows the answer.

“No I got this.” He smirks.

“I thought so, still had to ask.” I got in my car since it’s quiet and I don’t want him to know that I’m coming. It took me an hour and a half to get to the place. It’s on the other side of where he was last time. I walk towards the back that’s when I spotted the gas line this just might be easier than I thought. I looked into the window and Micheal had a gun in his hand facing towards the front door. Look at that he’s waiting for me at least he knows that he fucked up big time. I turn the gas on then walk in through the back door.

“You should be more aware of your surroundings Micheal.” He turns around pointing his gun at me.

“Don’t try to brave now Micheal you’ve always been a pussy when it comes to my family because you know better, but then you decide to steal and kill one of my men. Then when I let you live you had men take my women, that’s right there was your biggest mistake. How many times do I have to tell you Micheal if you ever hurt Kate I would kill you. I told you that since I was a kid, how stupid can you fucking be.” I walk into the kitchen and turn on the stove.

“What are you doing?” He asked with a scared look on his face.

“Don’t you smell it Micheal?” His eyes widen when he figured out but it was too late. I left out of the back door I took a few steps when the cabin blows up and I fell to the ground. I get up to my feet and brush off the dirt I look on the ground to make sure there was no footprints. I got back to my car and drove back home. Kate is finally safe we no longer have to worry about that bastard. As I walk inside I feel relief Kate jumps into my arms wrapping her arms and legs around me. What the hell is going on?

“Kate?” She looks up and there were tears streaming down her face what the fuck?

“What’s wrong Katy?”

“I’m finally free of him thank you.” I kissed her softly and hugged her tightly.

“Does it feel good not having to worry about him no more?”

“It feels amazing.” Kate looked into my eyes and smiles brightly, my heart skips a beat I lean in and kiss her gently. Her tongue slides in my mouth she licks the inside of my mouth God she tastes so damn sweet.

“Uncle Daniel.” We broke the kiss I look down and Jordan looks upset about something.

“What’s wrong Jordan?” I ask as Kate climbs down.

“Nikki keeps on hanging out with that new kid she hasn’t paid any attention to me since that kid showed up.” He’s jealous how cute is that?

“Jordan you know Nikki very well, why don’t you do something with her something she likes.” I look up and I see Jasper and Finn with worried looks on their faces. This problem he’s having must be serious.

“Every time I try something she always blows me off because of him and it’s pissing me off.” He’s becoming more like his father everyday.

“Alright come with me.” Jordan follows me into the family room it’s empty so that’s good.

“I don’t know what to do anymore I’ve tried everything I can think of but no it’s all about the new kid.” Trying to figure out a solution is difficult that’s probably why he came to me because those two over there are having a hard time helping him with this problem.

“Have you tried a picnic?” Jordan sighs.

“What’s the point of doing that, yes she loves them but it’s always in the backyard. I need something big somewhere she can’t say no to. Uncle Daniel please help me I feel like I’m losing her.” And there goes my heart breaking for him. Think Daniel think, what could be a great spot for them. That’s when it hit me, the lake. A few months ago I bought a place for where we can go to for a vacation and it has a beautiful lake that’s the perfect place.

“Go get the picnic stuff ready I know the perfect place for it.”

“Really?” He says with a big smile.

“Yeah go get things ready.”

“Thank you Uncle Daniel.”

“You’re welcome.” Jordan runs off.

“Thanks for helping him Daniel he’s been freaking out for the last two days.” Jasper says with a frown on his face.

“I’m happy to help. So what’s up with this new kid, Finn?” He sighs heavily.

“I don’t even want to get into it.” He says with irritation.

“She likes the new kid most boys usually keep their distance from her he doesn’t he actually be friended her.”
