“Where is Micheal?” Daniel says in a demanding tone. As he cuts the rope. He touches the back of my head and it fucking hurts like a bitch.

“Fuck, Katy.”

“Don’t touch it. How bad is it?”

“Your going to need stitches.”

“I figured as much.”

“I asked you a fucking question.”

“And I’m not going to tell you.”

“Fine.” Daniel points his gun and shoots him in the head point blank. I wrap my arms around him and he wraps his arms around my waist.

“Let’s get you checked out. How did this happen?”

“I should’ve been more careful when I had a bad feeling going into the store he caught me off guard.”

“I know baby. Let’s get you to the hospital.” Jasper walks in and sees me, he smiles.

“It’s good to see you Kate.”

“It’s good to see you too Jasper.” I try to walk when things start going black again.

“Katy baby open your eyes for me.” I try to open them but I just couldn’t do it. I’m so tired and my head is killing me. I opened my eyes it was bright, I cover my eyes with my arm.

“Hey baby how are you feeling?”

“Turn off the lights please.”

“Sure.” I look at Daniel and he looks tired.

“How long have I been out?”

“Four hours. You hit your head hard, but nurse Johnson said you will be fine, you just need some rest.”

“Did you find my father yet?”

“Not yet, but I have someone working on it for me. We are staying the night here.”

“I want to go home.”

“I’ll take you home tomorrow. Tonight they need to keep an eye on you.” I sighed.

“I understand. How’s Ray?”

“He’s pissed. They found out what happened and they wanted to see you, but nurse Johnson told him to stay in bed.”

“He must have hated that.”

“He did. He tried to leave but Toby stopped him.” I laugh.

“What is it?”

“Toby, he says he doesn’t worry about Ray, but his actions speak differently.” Daniel laughs.

“Yeah I know. I think he likes Ray and he hates it.”
