Chapter Nine

Jasper and I been working on finding Jessica for the last three days I don't understand people who kidnap children it's wrong and despicable. I kiss the top of Thea head she is still sleeping. Jasper and I have a lead on Jessica there’s a guy name Will who’s always at the park but has no kids he's down as a sex offender that will be out first stop is to that prick.

"I'll see you later baby girl," I whisper to her.

"Stay safe," she mumbles.

"Always." I kiss her cheek and walk out of the room. I walk downstairs and Jasper was already waiting for me.

"Should we go to his house first or his warehouse?"

"If you kidnap a child would you take them to your house?" I ask.

"No. Warehouse it is." I get in Jasper's car and he drives to Will’s warehouse. We kept at a good distance from the warehouse, we get out the car and walk the rest of the way to the door. Jasper looks in the window and nods his head and holds two fingers up. Two men with the little girl.

"Lets go through the back door." I tell him. We walk to the back door and I slowly open the door and we both slip through without being noticed. The two men were a good distance away from the girl. I took her blindfold off and put my finger across my lips so she knows to be quiet she nods her head. I untied her from the chair and she hugged me tightly, I pick her up in my arms the poor thing looks terrified. I look over to Jasper and he gave me a nod to get her out of here. I quickly and quietly get her out of the warehouse.

"Don't worry Jessica you're safe now, your dad asked for our help."

"Thank you." I look over my shoulder and Jasper was walking back to us.

"Let's get her back home where she belongs." Jasper says with a smile and the little girl smiles back at him. Jasper would be a great father one day if he lets himself fall in love again.

"Thank you both for saving me." Jessica says with a smile. She doesn't look terrified anymore.

"You're welcome sweetheart." Jasper and I said in unison. When we drop off Jessica she ran into her father's arms and that right there is why I love helping people in my town to see them happy like that. If the cops can't help them they always come to us because they know we protect them from all the bad shit.

"Thank you so much for bringing my little girl home to me."

"You're very welcome. Jessica you be good okay."

"I will." I get back in Jasper’s car I can finally relax a little bit.

"Jasper can you drop me off at the jewelry store."

"Not a problem. Are you going to be buying a ring?" he asked with a knowing smile.

"Yes I am."

"It's about fucking time Spencer." I laugh he probably has been waiting for this longer than we have he was always pushing us together every chance he got. Jasper drops me off then goes to the Casino. I walk in the jewelry store and I went straight to the ring section. When I saw the ring I knew that was the perfect ring for Thea. It's one big diamond with two small diamond one on each side and it's gold her favorite.

"I'll take that one please."

"Of course." He put the ring in a box then hands it to me I pay the man and walk to Thea's bakery it's not that far from the jewelry store. When I open the door a girl was walking out and she looks familiar.

"I hope things get better for you Levy."

"Thanks Thea." I look at Thea and she has a big smile on her face.

"Jasper told me you guys found the little girl that's great I'm glad you boys were able to find her in one piece."

"I am to she was so terrified when I found her. She hugged me tightly when I untied her hands."

"She felt safe when you boys got to her and I'm glad you did." Thea wraps her arms around my neck I hugged her back. Thea let’s go and walk back behind the counter. Thea is wearing a blue dress she doesn't always wear them but when she does she looks fucking gorgeous as hell. I went right behind her went down on one knee and took out the ring box. She turns around and her blue eyes were widen in shock with a beautiful sparkle to them.

"I wasn't joking when I said I wanted to marry you. I’ve been wanting to make you my wife for a very long time. It took us a long time to get where we are but it only made us stronger. Thea, I love you with all my heart and soul will you be my wife?"
