“A little girl went missing, the father ask for our help so Spencer will be working on that. Ricky will be going with you to the bakery today.”
“Jesus Christ I hope you find the little girl. What is wrong with people?”
“I don’t know I just hope she’s okay.”
“Same here. Tell Ricky I will be ready in about fifteen minutes.”
“I will, have a good day.”
“Thank you Jasper, good luck.”
“Thanks.” Jasper walks out of the room. I get off the bed and grabbing a pair of blue jeans and a black top and put them on. I grab a brush off my dresser and start brushing my long brown and blue hair. As I finish brushing my hair my phone bings. I grab is off the table and looked at the screen and see Spencer name.
Spencer- Hey baby girl I won't be home until late tonight. I hope you have a great day please bring home some cupcakes and muffins.
I smile at his message he loves my cupcakes.
Thea- I know Jasper told me about the missing little girl hope you find her. And of course I'll bring some home with me.
Spencer- Thank you my love. Talk to you when I get home.
Walking down stairs Ricky was waiting by the door for me.
"Are you ready Ricky?"
"I am whenever you are."
"Let's go then." He opens the door for me and we slide into his car. Didn't take long for us to get to my bakery. I open the door and switch the sign to open. Ricky sat at the back so he can see everything.
"Ricky would you like a cup of coffee and a muffin?"
"Yes please." I poor coffee in a large cup then grab a chocolate chip muffin and I handed it to him.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome." The door opens and one of my regulars walk in.
"Hey Megan, how are you?" I ask.
"I'm good. How are you doing Thea?"
"I'm doing good. Do you want your usual?"
"Yes please." I grab a bag and put four muffins inside the bag then poured her some coffee in a large cup.
"Here you go have a nice day."
"You to sweetheart." The door open and Levy walks in she’s looks very upset.
“Hey Levy having a rough day?” I ask with concern.
“Rough week. My dad is a stupid selfish dick.”
“What did he do this time?” I ask. He’s always giving her a hard time.
“Money like usual.” She sighs and I feel for her I know what it’s like having a shitty parent.
“I’m sorry to hear that. You want your usual?”
