Spencer

Sitting in my office, Jasper walks in with a calmer face today and that's really good as lately he's been so uptight.

“We found the little girl, she’s back home with her family safe and sound.” Thank fucking God.

“That’s good to hear, what about the men who took her?”

“They been dealt with and won’t be a bother to anyone ever again.” I nod my head.

“Great job Jasper. How’s Thea?” Jasper and I take turns keeping an eye on her throughout the years, she hasn’t got a home and that would be my fault I pushed her away when she needed me the most, it was just such a horrible time for us all.

“Thea is fine, she’s working at the moment, but she does look like she’s in a bad mood most of the time though. She looks irritated and stressed out.”

“Is that so? What do you think is the cause of her bad mood?” I ask curiously.

“Who else puts her in a bad mood, her mother.” I cross my arms, he has a point anytime Thea is in a bad mood it’s always because of her pain in the fucking ass mother.

“That women is such a pain in the ass I wish I could just get rid of her,” I said with anger.

“Spencer you can, you just won’t do it because you still need her.”

“Not really, but for now we just have to deal with it.” Jasper sits on my desk and tilts his head to the side.

“What is it Jasper?”

“Well, besides that Jenny wants to talk to you about something and I have a bad feeling. Are you going to sneak off and watch over Thea?”

“Not yet I want to deal with her mother first than check up on Thea. Bring Jenny to my office please.”

“Will do.” Jasper walks out of my office and I sit back in my chair. That women gets under my skin plus I don’t trust her at all, she’s up to no good it’s been like that for years, she always has something on her agenda and it’s never something good. I keep her close to keep her out of trouble and out of Thea’s hair for the most part. Jenny walks in with Jasper right behind her.

“Jenny, what is it that you want?” I cross my arms this women just drives me crazy any time I talk to her I want to smash my face in a wall.

“Mr. Jerome I would like to be let go, I want to get out of the business.” Now that I wasn’t expecting at all, she must have something up her fucking sleeve.

“You want me to let you go?” I raised an eyebrow.

“Yes I do,” she says calmly and that just bothers the fuck out of me.

“You know that’s not going to happen so why even ask that?”

“If you let me go I’ll give you Thea.” Jasper’s eyes widen in shock and so did my own. Did I just hear what I think I just heard.

“Are you trying to sell your daughter to me so you can have your freedom?” I ask in complete fucking shock.

“Yes, I am she will be all yours.” Jasper walks over to me.

“Spencer I don’t like this at all,” Jasper whispers in my ear and I agree with him I don’t like it myself.

“Let me get this straight you want to give me Thea so I can let you go.”

“That’s correct I thought about paying you out, but this way sounds better, you let me go and you gain a new member to take over my spot.” Wow this women is unfucking believable, but then again I’m really not that surprised. Jasper looks at me with concern in his eyes and I don’t blame him he worries about Thea just as much as I do, we have been looking after her for years. I met her when I was ten and she was five and I have always looked after her.

Seventeen Year Ago

Walking downstairs I see a little girl sitting on the couch I haven’t seen her before. When I get to the bottom step I see my dad.
