I bit the left side of his lower lip and released it gently. We were in his room in no time and threw me on the bed and took off his shirt. His well-chiseled abs and rock-hard chest called me to him. I stepped closer, and he took my clothes off.
His tongue on my nipple made me inhale so deeply I couldn’t catch my breath. Then he did what only he did best. He ate me like no one else ever had. He stayed there for minutes, and I was begging him to come up. I cried out of pleasure, and I could tell he enjoyed the agonizing pleasure he inflicted on me.
Finally, he left there and came up. His lips, chin, and cheeks were wet. It was all from me. I kissed him like that anyway.
Then he flipped me over. My waist was flat on the bed, but my butt was high up to his waist level. I felt his huge rod enter me slowly. I inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly. Then he started thrusting. My butt cheeks and his thighs slapped together and added more rhythm to my moans.
Minutes later, we were done. I couldn’t feel my legs, so I fell on the bed and sighed. He did the same. Our eyes met, and we smiled. It was a great feeling, and one I hope to feel many times more.
“I love you.” Ben said.
I was shocked and happy. It meant the world to me hearing him say those words. I smiled and locked my hands with his.
CHAPTER 23
Olivia
“Help me lift this carton. It’s my shoes.” I asked Ben to help me carry my things.
He had asked me to come stay with him for a week. I hesitated, but not for long, and the next day, I accepted. He helped me move my things arranged in two bags. We got to his house and started getting me settled.
Michael had heard that I was coming, and he showed his excitement. He was jumping around and playing. It was as though I was already moving into the family. Truth was, except for my entire box of clothes, I’d the privilege to call Ben’s home mine.
It didn’t take long though for sadness to breach the wall of happiness I’d managed to build after a long time.
I went to the ranch to check on the cattle a few weeks later. I sighted some hands in the ranch whispering among themselves. As soon as I got closer to them, they stopped and some of them started whistling.
Their behavior was awkward, and I could immediately tell something was wrong. Only I didn’t know what it was.
I wouldn’t be in the dark for too long. My curiosity would get the best of me.
“What’s going on? Is everything ok?” I asked.
“Yes, we’re fine.” They chorused. Some giggled and others chuckled suspiciously. Their smiles raised even more suspicions.
I nodded and walked past them. I knew I’d find out soon, so I didn’t bother too much. After I made sure the cattle were okay, I noticed the ranch hands gathered again. I snuck up on them to eavesdrop.
“The news is everywhere now.” One of the ranch hands said. His voice was very low. They didn’t want me to hear them from a distance, but little did they know I was close.
“Does Ben know she jumps from one man to another?
On hearing this, my heart skipped. It was me they were talking about. I wanted to defend myself, but I thought it would be useless.
“What if it’s just gossip?” One of them asked.
They all laughed except the man who asked.
“I’ve work to do; I can’t be listening to this.” He stood up and left them.
I withdrew and quietly started for home. I walked and everyone I walked past glared at me. If looks could kill, I’d die before I got home.
I regretted not driving Ben’s truck. I walked faster to avoid more shame, but people on the street didn’t stop staring and whispering among themselves. That’s how I knew what I heard the ranch hands saying had spread across the town like wildlife.
It became a relentless storm of falsehoods that tore through my life, leaving devastation in its wake. As the whispers and lies multiplied, I felt like an exposed nerve, raw and vulnerable. I almost cried on the street.
The small town, once a place of comfort and familiarity, turned into a maze of judgmental gazes and hushedconversations. I couldn’t escape the accusatory glances. “Did you do it?” by random people on the street.
I got home and hurriedly entered the house. I was panting like I’d been running. Ben saw me and came to give me a consolation hug.
