“You little hussy.” I narrow my eyes.

“Says the man who runs an escort service.” I hiss in return, which just makes him look prouder.

“Exactly! I’m the expert.” Seer slams his hand on the table.

“That’s enough. You can fuck who you want, but did you know he was your stalker?” Is he serious?

“Of course not! I wouldn’t have broken his nose if I had.” He tilts his head at me like that’s questionable.

Fair.

“I wouldn’t have.” I sit back and cross my arms in defense.

“ARIA, call Wolf.” Seer calls out to the AI, and I pinch the bridge of my nose.

“Busy,” Wolf answers and hangs up.

That’s unlike him. We all sit around the table, looking at the intercom in shock. So when it rings, we all jump a little, not expecting it.

“Seer?” Spark calls out over the sound of traffic.

He must be on his bike.

“Is Wolf alright?” I bite my thumbnail, waiting for the answer.

“Yeah, we just got Daisy home, and the cops were at our door asking for Shock.” I sit up from the slumping position I was in.

“WHY?” I look around the room as every eye turns to me.

“Doctor Dick is claiming you attacked him last night.” I frow my brows.

“What?” That doesn’t make any sense.

“Wolf told him you have a great left hook, but your arms can’t reach from New Orleans to Reno to cause his injuries.” That makes me curious.

“Which were?” Spark laughs out loud as if he was waiting to get to that part.

“He’s claiming you raped him. As in sodomy.” The room burst into a mixture of laughter and outrage.

“TAKE IT EASY!” Seer yells to get the room back under control.

“Since we proved you weren’t even in town when the attack occurred, they left with no problem, but Wolf is going to have Judge look into what we can do.” I nod while Seer asks a few more questions that I miss, lost in thought.

I know Richard is an asshole, but why would he claim something so outlandish. And if he provided proof of an attack of that nature, why would he blame me? None of this makes sense.

“Also, another body was found.” My head snaps up.

“Same as the others?” I ask to make sure.

“Unfortunately.” I look at Seer.

“We were calling to tell Wolf we caught her stalker here. So that means someone else is killing these women.” Spark curses.

“Mayhem, are you handling it?” I raise my eyebrow at my god-brother.

“Um, not exactly. She knows the guy, and I think she likes him.” I roll my eyes at him.

“Nah, the girl is in love with him, and we are gonna let them be,” Cowboy announces to the room.
