“I’m glad you like them. I’m sure they feel the same about you.”

Jade took Simone’s hand in hers. “Thank you for bringing me here to meet them tonight.”

“The time was right. I am meeting your family in a few weeks, after all.”

“I can’t wait. My parents are going to love you. If you can win Renee over, you can win over anyone.”

“I think it was the Club Velvet VIP membership I gave her that won her over.”

“Maybe. She’s definitely making good use of it.”

Simone wrapped her arm around Jade’s waist, drawing her in close. Jade, her jewel. Jade, her prize. A treasure more precious than anything else.

And she was all Simone’s.

She leaned in, her voice dropping low. “Now that everyone else is occupied, why don’t we go take a look at the private rooms? We haven’t been back in a long time. We can pick up where we left off at home. And you might just get your wish to try what we talked about earlier.”

Jade gazed up at her, desire shimmering in her eyes.

“Whatever you want,” she said. “I’m all yours.”

CHAPTER 35

“Keep moving about like that,” Simone said, “and I’ll turn you around and spank that pretty ass of yours pink.”

Jade froze in place. They’d returned to the room Simone had taken her into the second night she’d gone back to Club Velvet. Some of the equipment from before had been taken to other private rooms, but the bed and the floor-to-ceiling shelves filled with kinky delights had remained. So had the big, X-shaped St Andrews cross.

Which Simone was strapping Jade to right now.

She buckled the final strap around Jade’s ankle, sweeping a hand up her leg. “Now there’s no way you can wriggle your way out of this.”

Heat rose to Jade’s skin. Spreadeagled, her arms and legs bound and her body stretched to the limit, she could barely move. And Simone had stripped her down to her panties before strapping her to the cross, leaving her even more vulnerable.

But Simone had stripped down to her bra and panties, too. And the sight of her, her flushed breasts, her milky white hips and thighs bared for Jade’s eyes only, was just as breathtaking as the first time she laid eyes on Simone’s body.

But tonight, the sight wasn’t to last.

Simone examined the array of blindfolds displayed on the shelf nearby and picked one up, dangling it from a finger. It was made of black leather overlaid with lace, which did little to make it seem less imposing.

“Close your eyes,” Simone said.

Jade’s pulse sped up, nerves and excitement warring inside her. Once upon a time, blindfolds had been a hard limit. Then, they’d turned into a soft limit. Because the more she and Simone explored, the more the trust between them had grown. And the more Jade had come to understand her fears.

Blindfolds didn’t scare her because they made her vulnerable. She’d made herself vulnerable to Simone a thousand times in a thousand different ways. No, her anxiety over blindfolds stemmed from something deeper—her fear of unknowingly being taken advantage of while blind, vulnerable, trusting, just like she had been before.

It was a fear she’d held onto for far too long. It was one she wanted to conquer.

Still, she couldn’t help but hesitate.

Simone cupped Jade’s cheek in her hand. “You can do this. I know you can. And if you start to feel overwhelmed, I’m right here, understand?”

Jade nodded. Taking a deep breath, she shut her eyes.

“I’m going to put the blindfold on you now,” Simone said. “Just relax.”

She slipped the blindfold onto Jade’s head, taking care not to tangle the straps in her hair. It fit snuggly, the leather unexpectedly soft against her skin. And when she opened her eyes, not a single ray of light reached them.

Her breath quickened. She was completely in the dark.
