“I won’t,” she says, far too innocent. “We play fair and square.”
We’ll see about that. She’s surprisingly competitive.
We’re quiet then and bask in each other’s presence.
“Oh I forgot to tell you. Rhia has planned a trip for you and Lex to Soldotna tomorrow to get supplies. There’s a large shop that sells all sorts of Christmas decorations, and she had them put away whatever they had left.”
“I don’t recall that place. Where is it?”
“It’s two hours by car, but I wasn’t keen for you guys to drive in these icy conditions. So Lex is going to fly.”
She suddenly turns in my arms to face me. “You know, I heard their plane when they arrived earlier today. Claudette and I were in the kitchen when it flew over the house. And not half an hour later, Rhia entered.
“You must have been planning this for a while. How did you keep this a secret from me?”
“I just didn’t tell you!” I laugh.
“No seriously, how did you keep it secret? We are in hiding after all.”
“I can’t reveal that,” I tell her, my gaze traveling down her body and getting stuck on her juicy breasts. They glisten as drops of water cascade over them. I might have only just had her, but the sight stirs my cock anew.
Each night, once is never enough.
Leaning forward, I push her body onto the other side of the bathtub, my nose finding her neck and breathing onto her wet skin. Goosebumps erupt all over her arms, and I smile to myself, enjoying her body’s reaction to me.
“Hmm, what other surprises have you got up your sleeve?”
I trace her delicate collarbone with my tongue and kiss my way up to her mouth. “Now that’s something I definitely can’t divulge.”
When she opens her mouth to tease me, I poke my tongue in and find hers. She more than willingly surrenders to my attack.
Thus, round two for tonight begins.
Chapter Nine
Ella
Thepasttwodayshave been a complete whirlwind. I’ve hardly seen my love, and I didn’t like it.
Tiero and Lex flew to Soldotna, and Rhia decided last minute to go with them, not trusting that they would get everything we need.
It’s a good thing the Freemont plane has a cargo hold. They came back with so much stuff, had they taken the car, they’d have needed a trailer to cart it all home. Even the plane was stuffed full to the roof.
We unloaded carpets, fold out tables, boxes and boxes of every imaginable kind of fairly light, torches, lanterns and hundreds of battery-operated candles.
When I asked if they left anything for other people, they shook their heads unapologetically. They must have spent a small fortune, but Tiero justified it by saying he wouldn’t skimp on our wedding. Good thing he still has money coming out of his ears.
Everything is coming together with ease. Now we just need the marriage license.
Rhia also found herself a dress in a dark plum color, which complements the soft pink of my dress beautifully.
She also hunted down a suit for Tiero and Lex. They had to size up to accommodate the thermal underwear Tiero insisted on. He came back with bags of them and handed them to me. I had to promise to wear them.
What a picture that will be when he gets to undress me. I laugh just imagining it.
Though beneath it all, I will wear some very sexy, white lace, skimpy lingerie—courtesy of my best friend. Seriously, this woman thinks of everything. I couldn’t love her more if I tried.
All-terrain-wedding organizer extra-ordinaire that she is, Rhia also managed to find a florist at Soldotna who had plenty of roses and lilies in stock. Needless to say, she bought most of them.
