I get into the truck that Punisher and Python are already in and Reaper slides in next to me in the back seat. Normally, Reaper would be up front, but at times like this, the navigator is always up front so they can clearly see where we’re going.

As soon as we leave the compound, Reaper’s phone beeps with a message. He grunts as he reads it and tucks it away after silencing it.

“Colt and Drake tracked them to the same cabin. It’s only Carter and Andrew inside, though the idiots have a window cracked. It sounds like they are waiting for Luscious. Colt said that Carter got off the phone with someone who doesn’t seem to want to hold up the deal that Carter gets his revenge before the person on the phone gets Mae.”

I grit my teeth and clench my fists. Those fuckers better not touch my Sunshine Goddess. I’ll make them pay tenfold whatever they do to her.

Pulling out my own phone, I text Doc.

Timber: Doc, in case those assholes hurt my sunshine, there’s a chance she could be pregnant.

Doc: No problem, Timber. I’ll make sure she’s taken care of. Is your preference to bring her back to the clubhouse?

Timber: Yes. Don’t want to go to the hospital unless we have to with those other psychos possibly circling.

Doc: Got it. I’ll let you know once I see her.

Just as we’re pulling up to where we’ll leave the trucks, Reaper digs his phone out of his pocket. His face darkens as he reads the text and he clutches his phone, his fingers turning white. With how tight he’s holding it; I’m surprised it hasn’t broken yet.

His gaze locks on mine, and I know.

Someone’s dying for hurting my sunshine.

Also, thank fuck I already had that conversation with Doc.

Punisher parks the truck and we all get out. He immediately places a hand on my shoulder, but even though I know I need to get to Mae, we need a plan so no one else gets hurt or killed. Still, it kills me to wait. Especially since he could be hurting her still.

“Timber, Punisher, Devil, Smithy, Doc, and I will be the first wave. Mae’s being held in a room in the basement. There’s a small window, but that’s it. Punisher, Devil, and Smithy will neutralize anyone in the house while Timber, Doc, and I head to the basement. The rest of you, secure the area and be ready to move in if you get the signal.” He pauses as he looks at each of my brothers and my gut twists. “Mae’s hurt and Colt advises we carry her out on the stretcher. Once Doc says she’s good to move, I’ll send for the stretcher, but I need someone on the perimeter team to carry it with them.”

Odin slaps my shoulder and moves out with the others that will secure the perimeter. I’m honestly surprised he didn’t stay with Mama Astrid, however I also know how important Mae’s become to both of them. He’ll no doubt be wanting a piece of these bastards when we get them to the cellar.

My heart clenches at what they could have done to Mae for Colt to suggest taking her out on the stretcher.

I know both Doc and Patch from my club keep two types of stretchers in their trucks. The normal hard backed one, but also another one with a sturdy cloth stretched across two long poles. Right now, Razor’s carrying the stretcher as he follows after Odin, the guys spreading out to the left and right of the trail.

I follow my brothers up the trail and when we get close enough; I hear a bird call off to my right. Turning, I spot Colt and quietly but quickly make my way to him with Reaper at my heels.

“There are two entrances, this one,” Colt whispers as he points to the door nearby, “and one on the backside of the house. Drake’s watching that one. Still just the two assholes inside and neither of us have seen anyone else trying to approach. No idea who Carter was talking to on the phone.”

Drake must have told him who the two men were.

Reaper signals to head to the house, but not before saying our team will split up between the two doors and enter at the same time.

Hang on, Sunshine, I’m coming.

With there being two doors, Reaper changes the plan and our groups split up.

Via text, we coordinate the countdown, and Reaper kicks in the front door right as Devil kicks in the back door. A couple of shots ring out and I’m hoping it’s just to neutralize the assholes and they don’t hit anything vital.

Hot on Reaper’s heels, Doc and I enter the living room and I would have laughed if it were any other type of situation.

A porno is on the TV and both men have their pathetic cocks hanging out, most likely from jerking off. Andrew’s on the ground by the couch and Carter’s by a chair. Behind Carter, there’s a railing and some stairs that lead down to the basement.

My brothers secure both of these assholes easily, using zip ties to tie their hands behind their backs and secure their ankles together. Both men have gunshot wounds in their legs.

I stalk to the stairs and Carter yells at me.

“Stay away from her! She’s mine, you lowlife thug!”
