Chapter 22
“TOMASSO, WAIT!” I RACEDafter him as soon as I spotted him.
“What’s up, sis?” he said. “I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I missed you so much.”
“Of course you did.” I stuck my tongue out at him. “But now your favorite sister needs a favor.”
“Stella needs something?” The corners of his lips quirked up.
“No, silly! I need a favor.”
“Ah. What do you need? Me to distract Mom and Dad so you can sneak into Pablo’s room unseen?”
I rolled my eyes. “I need you to go buy something for me, wrap it up, and put it under the Christmas tree.”
“You do realize it’s very, very late, right?”
“I do, but I also know you know a store owner who’s willing to do just about anything for a lot of cash.”
He narrowed his eyes at me. “Okay, fine.”
“Thank you!” I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. “I love you! You’re my favorite brother.”
“Sure, I am.” He shook his head. “Merry Christmas.”
“Merry Christmas to you too.”

I LIGHTLY KNOCKED ONthe door of the guest room. Everyone had already gone to sleep, but I hoped Pablo was still awake.
A moment later, the door opened.
A smile spread across Pablo’s lips. “Hey.”
“Hey.” I grinned, lifting up the Christmas lights I’d brought with me. “I have something for you. Your room doesn’t have any Christmas stuff, so I thought—”
I yelped as he caught my arm and yanked me inside. My back hit the wall, and he leaned over me, trapping me.
His lips were dangerously close to mine.
I wanted to kiss him, but I grinned instead and lifted the Christmas lights.
He narrowed his eyes at me, a smile curving his lips. “These look fun.”
He spun me around, wrapping the lights around me.
“Hey, wait! That’s not what you’re supposed to—” I gasped as he yanked me to him, rubbing himself against my ass.
A shot of electricity zapped through me.
“Ah, no?” He tugged at the lights, his lips brushing my ear.
I let out a moan as his mouth closed around my earlobe.
“And this?” He tightened the lights around my wrists behind my back, his mouth fastening to my neck.
“Mmm.” It was all I managed to say.
