They forced my mouth open and poured some foul-tasting liquid down my throat as I coughed and choked.

My eyes flew open. I was in my bed, back in reality.

Fuck.

Would the nightmares—or better said, memories—ever going to leave me? Why did I have to relive all the gruesome details of my captivity every night?

I sat up, running my hand over my face.

Claudia was in my basement, and yet, so far, it wasn’t helping.

I needed more.

I needed to get her out of my system. She’d plagued my nightmares for too long.

But I had to be patient too. Once I broke her, she’d be mine. I’d take everything I wanted from her, and she’d willingly offer it to me.

I’d claim her.

Take control.

And then she would no longer be my tormentor.

WHEN I REACHED CLAUDIA’Scell, which was way, way nicer and cleaner than mine had been, she sat up, looking at me with her big brown pleading eyes.

“Can I have something to eat? Please?” she asked softly.

“All in its time, and only if you earn it. Get up.”

She obeyed as I unlocked the door of her cell and opened it wide.

“Come with me, and don’t try anything funny because you won’t be eating anything for a week.”

She gave me a small nod, and I led her to the bathroom. Her gaze wandered around, but if she thought there was a way out, she was going to be disappointed.

“Take a shower,” I said.

Her gaze met mine. “Only if you turn around.”

A smile quirked my lips. “Whatever.”

I turned away from her, but I took a quick peek over my shoulder anyway.

The sight of her body as she stepped out of her clothes sent all my blood rushing down.

Fuck.

She was about to unhook her bra when she looked in my direction, so I quickly focused on a spot in front of me.

In the reflection on the metal railing, I could see her blurry, naked form.

My cock already strained against my pants. Despite everything, I wanted her more than anything.

I’d always wanted her, and once I satisfied that desire, I should finally become myself again. Claudia had taken something from me the moment I’d met her.

Like a siren, she’d led me to my doom.
