Page 56 of Touched Down

I look deep into her chocolate-brown irises and tell her, “I think you should do whatever makes you happy. While I don’t see the purpose in it, if going and showing them you’re not with any BS would do that for you, then I say go and enjoy doing it. I’m team Leslie, no matter what.”

She rewards me with a bright smile spreading across her face. "Thanks, Wayne. That means a lot. Jasmine will go with me."

I shake my head. "I guess I'll have bail money ready then."

She slides to her feet, and we laugh and joke about what Jasmine will probably say or do until our sides hurt. Leslie lets out a gasp. “I almost forgot that we have to go to the guesthouse for breakfast.”

I glance at the shower with a sly grin. “I guess we need to get showered then.”

I take her hand and walk to the shower. She strips out of her gown as I step out of my boxers. Before the water is heated, I have her pinned against the wall, entering her and filling her completely.

“We’re not going to make it to breakfast,” she moans.

“We can eat later.”

“But Wayne. We have to…”

“We don’t have to do anything.” I continue to move inside her, savoring every moment. Her body curves into mine and I feel her hands grip my back tightly. I can sense the pleasure building within her, and I pump inside her tight walls, pushing her towards the edge.

As she reaches her climax, I slow down my movements, holding her close as we come down from our high. We are both breathing heavily, trying to catch our breath.

“I love you,” she whispers, looking up at me with a smile.

“I love you more,” I reply, kissing her forehead.

We spend the rest of the time in the shower, washing each other and laughing together. It’s moments like these that make everything worth it.

Episode 31

LESLIE

The Love Announcement

An hour later, we finally arrive at brunch. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee beans greets us. Wayne's mother, Louise, is already seated at the dining table, her hands cradling a steaming cup of morning joe. As our entrance catches her attention, a warm smile spreads across her face.

"Good morning," Wayne and I say, exchanging glances filled with affection.

"Good morning," Louise responds, her voice radiating warmth. “Nice of you two to join us.”

Eddie and Marjorie follow suit, offering their morning greetings. The room is filled with the clinking of cutlery and lively conversation as everyone indulges in a delicious spread of eggs, bacon, fruits, and enticing red velvet waffles. Marjorie is always cooking up one dessert or another that will undoubtedly have me a pants size larger before the year’s end.

My heart flutters as I settle beside Wayne. His hands are not on me, but I can feel his touch all over me. It still feels like we’re connected from this morning. As I plate our food, I take in the easy camaraderie and affectionate banter around the table. A girl can only dream of having this warm and loving bond with her man, and having a familial bond with my in-laws is a bonus.

Louise leans forward, mischief twinkling in her eyes. "You two are mighty late this morning. Must take extra time to shower these days," she teases, her words laced with playfulness.

A blush warms my cheeks, and I scramble to find an excuse for our tardiness. "No, we weren’t taking too long in the shower,” I lie. “Uh, we….I just had to find something to wear," I stammer, feeling both embarrassed and exhilarated by the memory of why we were late.

Wayne winks at me, a playful glimmer in his eyes. "Yeah, that’s what we were doing. We were looking for matching outfits. You know Leslovesthose," he jests. "But we had to settle with black jeans and t-shirts. And….” He runs his tongue across his lips, leaving a luscious sheen over them. “…finding clothes takes time if you do it right."

I tilt my head toward Wayne and clench my pulsing lower lips, tormented by Wayne’s teasing. Even though he uses innuendos, I can’t believe he’s saying those things to his mother. And I can’t believe I’m turned on at the table with his mother, brother, and godmother.

Marjorie chuckles, her laughter filled with amusement. "Well, finding clothes is good for you two because you look great," she reassures, playfully peeking over her coffee glass.

“Is that what we’re calling the nasty these days…finding clothes?” Eddie joins in the laughter, his eyes crinkling with joy as he digs into his plate of eggs.

I shift in my seat, suddenly finding a keen interest in the flavor of the eggs. “What did you put in these eggs, Mama Louise?”

Louise waves off my attempt to change the subject. She seizes the opportunity to share a tale from the past, her voice carrying nostalgia and love. "Speaking of finding clothes, Leslie, did I ever tell you that Wayne was a mischievous little boy?" she asks, her voice filled with fond memories. "He used to take off his pajamas and sleep naked every night! Me, his father, and Eddie would put his clothes back on. Then, he would take them off and hide them, so we would all run around trying to find clothes for him in the middle of the night. Remember that, Eddie?"
