It was definitely something we needed to clue Maximo and Yuri into when we had a chance. This had the potential to spill out of just club business if the others were determined enough.

“Valentina bought me a food truck. I have no idea any details about it, so will you be here when it gets delivered to look it over for me?”

“A food truck?” Romeo repeated slowly.

“Like Fork and Wheels?” Viper asked, making Eliza light up. I felt a pang of annoyance but swallowed it down quickly. They had a past, but so did we now. I justreallyneeded to fuck her.

“Exactly!”

“I’m sure I can work out a payment plan for my services,” Romeo said suggestively as he grinned at our girl’s excitement.

Loki, for his part, stroked his beard a few times, not saying anything. A bit of the tension that had been riding him since he heard Viper and Eliza together faded at her obvious happiness.

“You think there’s any way I can convince you to quit tomorrow so we can find someone to take your shifts?”

Eliza glanced at him, chewing her bottom lip as she made a show of thinking it over.

“I can think of a few ways you could convince me to stay for a little bit longer,” she said coyly as she approached the alpha.

“Tell me about them in great detail while I work on my bike,” Loki rasped, his voice deep while he wrapped an arm around her shoulders. “Bane, can you handle what we talked about in the meeting?”

“You got it,” I confirmed.

“Romeo, pick any open place as yours. If it has stuff stored there we can move things around,” Loki called over his shoulder before he and Eliza were out of sight. Guess the shared pack space conversation was going to wait until later.

As much as I hated that we were interrupted, I was glad the two of them were getting some quality time together. Lokidefinitely needed some one-on-one time with our omega after the other alpha’s arrival.

“I can help move stuff out if you want,” Viper offered the beta easily.

“Thanks. Let’s go look,” Romeo accepted the offer. “You heading out now, Bane?”

“Yeah,” I cleared my throat roughly. “I’ll be at Neon Nights tonight.”

A little while later, I pulled up in front of the de Luca house. A firm knock on the door and then I was facing the head of the Family, Maximo, one of Hazel’s mates.

“We might have a situation coming up you need to know about,” I told him grimly.

After a brief pause, he stepped back and gestured for me to come in.

The twins were sprawled on the couch along with Valentina who became quiet at my entrance. Zaven was silent but observant as I stood there and started filling them in on what was happening.

When Maximo started asking pointed questions and called Yuri himself, I knew there must be some shit we didn’t know yet.

“It looks like we have information to share with you. Well… Rumors,” Maximo started.

Shit. This wasn’t good.

The bar was packedby the time I got there. Kraken was manning the door and instantly sobered up when he spotted me heading his way.

“Where’s Loki?” I asked him, trying to keep my face neutral.

“With Eliza behind the bar,” he nodded his head in their general direction. “Anyone I need to look out for?”

“Not yet,” I told him darkly before making my way inside.

The music was blasting and Eliza was dancing with her friends and laughing while pouring drinks. Romeo and Viper were both sitting at the bar while Loki tried to help our girl by making some drinks.

Romeo noticed me first, his grin fading slightly at the sight of me. Gently, he nudged the alpha beside him and leaned in to say something. Whatever he said had Viper motioning to Loki and then we were outside.
