"Now, I don't want any objections about this. It's final and Ezra will be with you when I can't and while I can."
"Okay," she whispered.
There was no point in arguing about this, even if she didn't think she needed him.
Daddy put his hand on her forehead. "Are you feeling okay?"
"Yes, Daddy," she sighed. "I am just tired and want this person found."
It had only been a couple of days, but it was exhausting. Sofia felt like even with her Daddy around, she had to be on guard in case something happened. The bad person had to be a member of the club and it worried her. Who would want to do this to her?
Sofia watched as Ezra walked over towards them and knelt down in front of her.
"We're going to try our hardest and our best to find this person as quickly and safely as possible," he softly said to her.
She nodded her head and leaned into her Daddy's embrace. Sofia believed every word Ezra said and she just hoped it would be sooner than later when they found the person. She didn't want this to go on forever. She wanted to live her life, but she couldn't do that when someone was after her.
Well, she probably could but she would be too worried about if the person was coming after her at any moment. That was no way to live.
"Do you want Trixie?" Daddy asked.
She nodded her head, too shy to speak in front of the other people. Even though she knew they were Daddies, it was still weird to call him Daddy in front of them or have him take care of her. Would she ever get used to it?
It was different around Michael or Leo because she knew them before and was comfortable around them, but with Ezra and Antonio, it was weird.
Daddy grabbed Trixie from the top of his desk and handed it to her. She had left Trixie with Daddy when she started her shift because she didn't want anything to happen to her. What if the person came into the employees’ room and destroyed her stuff? She wasn't going to have that.
"Thank you, Daddy," she whispered.
Ezra had gone back to standing next to Antonio. Both of them were tall, like Daddy, with broad shoulders. Ezra was bigger than Antonio, but Sofia could tell that Antonio worked out.
"Antonio will be working on trying to figure out who did this. I'll be doing perimeter checks at the house and in the club every once in a while," Ezra said. "You mentioned the person has to be a member or works here, correct?"
"That's right," Daddy said.
Unease filled her as they started to talk about this. She didn't like that the person was still out there, a member of the club or an employee, because it meant they had access to things. And they didn't have a clue who this person could be.
What did she do to deserve this?
"I don't want to put any of the other members in an uncomfortable position. But I would like to walk around every once in a while, and see if I see anything suspicious," Ezra said. "I also want to watch people, so I get to know how they act. I'll do this as discreetly as I can, but I just wanted to let you know. Do people in the club know?"
"Only people we know and trust. So basically just the owners and the bouncers," Daddy replied.
Sofia had wanted to tell Monty, but Daddy told her it was best not to, so she didn't feel uncomfortable at work. Sheunderstood and knew that Monty wasn't in any danger because she wasn't a foreigner like her.
"I'll be looking over the security feed again, but I see what you mean about it being tampered with," Antonio said. "I'll also be looking at the cameras to see if I can find anything."
"Just let me know if you need anything," Daddy said.
Daddy and Ezra started to talk again, but Sofia drowned it out. It was boring listening to them talk about this. She knew it was important, but she also didn't understand all of it.
"Do you have a name for your stuffy?" Antonio asked, pulling her out of her thoughts.
"Trixie," she softly said, looking at him.
He had taken several steps towards her and bent down.
"Do you have any other stuffies?" he asked.
