“Please don’t,” she replied. “I don’t want to cause any problems.”
“No. People shouldn’t be rude to you and it’s unacceptable.”
Sofia nodded her head. She knew that if she put up any type of fight against it, Monty would push her to tell someone or she would tell one of the Doms about it. Sofia didn’t know what to do, and she didn’t want to think about it right now.
She was so exhausted, and all she wanted to do right now was go back to her apartment and sleep until tomorrow. Nothing sounded better than snuggling up to Trixie and falling asleep under her covers.
“Incoming,” Monty whispered before she walked off.
What did she mean incoming?
“Sofia,” Jaxson said.
Her whole body stiffened. That’s what Monty meant by incoming. Jaxson was walking over to them and she didn’t have time to hide or walk away from him.
She turned around and smiled at him. Maybe if she was nice and smiley at him, he would be less mad at her. But as she took him in, she realized it wasn’t going to change anything.
“We need to talk,” he said. “No ifs, ands, or buts. We are talking in my officenow.”
Sofia stood there, staring at him. He sounded serious, but not really angry. Maybe this was going to be about them and their dynamic and not her walking out last night.
“Don’t you dare try to find a way out of this. You won’t,” he said. “You’re going to walk around the bar and follow me to the office.”
She nodded her head. She knew she wasn’t going to be able to get anywhere, not when he was keeping a close eye on her. There was no point in avoiding it now.
“Grab Daddy’s hand,” he said as she walked from behind the bar.
A gasp was heard, and her head turned to the left. Lucy was standing there with her mouth wide open.
Shit.
This was not good. Lucy had heard Jaxson call himself Daddy. What was he thinking? He wasn’t technically her Daddy right now. They had talked about it, but they hadn’t solidified it yet.
Before Lucy could say anything, Jaxson grabbed her hand and started to walk towards his office.
“We have a lot to talk about,” he said.
She kept her head down as they walked. She was toying with looking back at Jaxson. Sofia knew she looked exhausted and she could play that to her favor or it could backfire on her.
She didn’t want to leave work. Though, if he saw her face, he could insist on it. She would get out of this talk but then she wouldhaveto leave work. She needed the money right now. There was no way she could afford rent and food if she skipped out on an hour's pay.
It didn’t seem like a lot, but it was to her. It meant the difference between her being able to eat meals this upcoming week or not.
“Take a seat,” Jaxson said as they walked into his office.
She sat down on the couch, the furthest spot from his desk. She didn’t want to be close to him in case he blew up after she said something. Somehow Sofia managed to make people mad when she talked. Well, not all the time, but a good majority.
That’s why she kept to herself a lot.
“Sofia,” he said. “Do you know why we need to talk?”
She shook her head. She had several ideas why they could possibly need to talk, but she didn’t want to offer any up and be wrong.
“I think you do,” he said. “Are you lying to Daddy?”
“No,” she whispered. “I’ve got several ideas but don’t want to pick the wrong one.”
“Just name one. You won’t get punished for picking the wrong one. Unless you are purposefully picking the wrong one to avoid the conversation.”
