Daddy handed her a water bottle when he freed her left arm from the ropes.
"I want you to drink all of this tonight," Daddy said. "Can you do that for Daddy?"
"Yes," she whispered and started to drink the water.
She didn't realize how thirsty she was until she was actually drinking. By the time Daddy got her right arm free from the ropes, she had drunk half the water bottle already. There would be no problem with her finishing this by the time she went to bed.
"Can I drop you off?" Daddy asked.
"I've got a taxi waiting for me outside," she softly said.
Sofia had made sure to order a taxi before they started playing so he didn't have to worry.
A look of disappointment flew across his face and she knew he didn't like the idea of her taking a taxi. They weren't always safe, but she didn't have a car and she didn't want him to take her to her apartment.
Not yet.
"Alright," he sighed. "Let's get you to your taxi."
She didn't like that he was disappointed in her. Sofia wanted him to be proud of her and it seemed like she was just making things worse the more they hung out and were together.
They walked towards the entrance, passing Pete, and to the taxi.
"This is the last time you're taking a taxi," Daddy said. "Next time, I'm taking you home. I don't like you taking a taxi when I'm not there. What if something happens? They aren't safe."
"I don't want to waste my money," she whispered.
"Next time I'm taking you. No arguments."
She nodded her head. That meant she was just going to have to figure out a way for him to not take her the next time.
"I'll see you tomorrow for your shift," he said, kissing her forehead.
Sofia got into the taxi and smiled at him. "See you tomorrow."
"Text me when you get home."
"I will."
Daddy closed the door, and she rattled off her address to the driver. She didn't want to leave him, but at the same time, she couldn't wait to get back to her apartment and sleep.
"Thank you," she whispered as she got out of the car.
Sofia quickly made her way into the apartment building and up to her apartment. She didn't want to stay out there too long and possibly get mugged. That wasn't going to happen again.
She sighed as she put her stuff down and made her way towards her room. Sending a quick message to Daddy, she laid down in bed and closed her eyes, content with the past couple of hours.
Sofia slowly woke up with a groan. Her body was shaking, and she was so cold. Why was she so cold?
She slowly drew out her arm and grabbed her phone, checking the time. She had to leave soon to make it to her shift, but she didn't have the energy to go. It was like someone had zapped her of all her energy.
Tears filled in her eyes as all the emotions got to her. She was exhausted, had no energy, was shaky, cold, and sad. But nothing made sense. She didn't have a reason to feel all of those.
Grabbing the blanket, she held on tightly to it and snuggled into her pillow and Trixie. Maybe if she fell back asleep, everything would be okay when she woke up. But part of her knew it wasn't going to help and she started to cry.
Sofia clenched her eyes shut and squeezed Trixie in her arms.
Ring.
