Clara, if you want to speak to me, all the others must wait outside.

I was pulled out of it and felt hands on my shoulder. Bethany.

“Are you okay?” she asked me politely.

I nodded. “Yes. Yes, I am fine, but I need all of you to wait outside.”

They all looked at me like I was an idiot.

Griffin said, “There’s no way we’re leaving you in here alone.”

I interrupted him, “I will be fine, Griffin. Please go. I’ll be right out.”

They nodded hesitantly and walked out of the castle. Once the doors were closed, I felt the magic subside, and the door unlocked.

Creepy.

I opened the door and walked into a dark room with Luna sitting behind her desk, with a light blue aura around her.

“Come in, Clara. Close the door behind you.”

I followed her command and approached her desk, settling in the chair before her. Luna’s eyes were glossed over, and I could tell she was in a trance. Doing what? I had no idea, but I hoped coming here was the right choice.

“I know why you are here. I’m glad Evander was able to inform you.”

So, he talked to her? When?

“When and how aren’t important. What I need you to do is give me your hands.”

I didn’t budge. Zero movements.

“Clara, you need to trust me.”

I looked at her, with her looking into my soul.

“Fine, I’ll prove my trust,” she declared.

She forced a bolt of light into my head, causing me to see visions of Madok. He was at my home, looking at the dungeon. Behind the bars was Evander. He was beaten badly.

Then someone started to talk, and I saw the frustration on both of their faces.

“You won’t touch her anymore. If you do anything to jeopardize this plan, I will kill you myself.”

Madok practically yelled at Evander.

Evander laughed, “What’s your endgame, Theo?”

He paused and approached the bars of the dungeon as Madok stepped directly in front of him, yet Evander called him by another name.

“She will decide for herself. Her decision will determine the outcome for you and this entire land. My curse and Athiana’s curse, which one will be broken first, Evander? Either way, you will always be under my control. She can’t help you and most certainly won’t help when she’s dead.”

“You won’t ever touch me or her, Theo. I hope you know that Clara has developed every creation power. She is coming for you and will kill you when she finds out what you have done and who you are.”

Madok laughed, a deep laugh. “You’re hysterical, Evander. I can’t be killed. I’m a god.”

Evander huffed a snare, and his mouth pressed into a firm line. “Only a god can kill a god… dad.”

“And what god is going to kill me, my dear son?”
