“Money’s on the dresser. Thanks for lunch,” I tell her before walking to the door and pulling it open. I step into the hall and almost turn back to see what she looks like. I never know what they look like. I know what they taste like, though, and she was the best one yet. I’ll have to request her again.
I walk out of the hotel with a grin on my face. I might not have gotten any pussy, but eating one is the next best thing. I climb on my bike and rev the engine before pulling out onto the street. I need to get to the clubhouse before Cage loses his shit.
I ride through town with ease as I watch the world whipping past me. It’s calming and soothing.
I pull up to the clubhouse and park my bike, noticing the other guys have arrived already. Shit, I hope I didn’t miss church. Just elected in as the VP, that wouldn’t look good on me. I pull my helmet off and hang it from the handlebars before walking to the door.
Once inside, I spot Cage across the room. He looks pissed off, but then again, he always looks that way.
“What’s with him?” I ask Ridge.
“Somethin’ with his old lady. They’re fightin’ it out,” he chuckles.
“What happened?”
“She’s still mad about the whole changin’ the pills thing,” he replies. I nod my head. She has every right to be mad. There’s no way in hell that I could do that to a woman. Changing out her birth control? Nope. That isn’t even a thought any of us assholes should be having. But Cage isn’t like us in that sense. He does what he wants and usually gets it, too.
“That’s still some crazy shit,” I remind Ridge.
“No shit. I don’t even know how the hell he came up with that shit,” he adds. I nod my agreement.
“I’m gonna go talk to him. Maybe diffuse that shit,” I say. Ridge nods and tells me good luck as I stroll over and drop into the chair across from them.
“What the fuck do you want?”
“To talk,” I tell him.
“About what?”
“Nothin’ in front of Yenni.” My eyes meet hers, and I can see the silent thank you. I give her a nod, and she shoves out of her chair, walking away from the two of us.
“What the fuck was that?” Cage asks.
“Her needin’ a break from your crazy ass. You know you’re fucked in the head, right?”
“No, I’m not. I just get what I want,” he argues. “You got a real reason for bein’ over here?”
“The strip club is ready to be opened. All the liquor licenses are in place.”
“And the girls?”
“They’re ready to strip,” I say with a smirk.
“And you’re ready to watch, huh?”
“I like to keep an eye on things,” I admit. I don’t mind seeing the girls taking their clothes off, either. It’s the perks of the job.
“I bet you do,” he adds under his breath. “When do we wanna do that?”
“As soon as possible. I think the sooner we open, the better for us it’ll be. Not only are we gonna run money through there, but the legit cash will come flowin’ in. There aren’t any clubs near here,” I explain.
“Set up some promotional shit for Friday then,” he says.
“That soon?”
“What the fuck, Knight? You just said as soon as possible, motherfucker.” I grin at him.
“I’m fuckin’ with you, Prez. Damn, is your girl not givin’ up the pussy?” I ask him. He shakes his head and runs his hand through his hair.
