She hurried through getting dressed, grabbing the shirt her sister just put on a hanger. She grabbed her keys and her purse and headed out the door. She was halfway to the clubhouse when she happened to notice the gas gauge was hovering right at empty. “Damn it.” She was going to have to pull over for gas or risk getting stranded when she ran out. If she remembered correctly there were no gas stations near the clubhouse so it was either fill up now or be stranded when she left.

By the time she’d gotten to the clubhouse she was right on time. She stepped inside, sighing in relief at the feel of their super cooled common area. Wow. This must be what it felt like to be able to afford air conditioning. July was always hot, but this was getting ridiculous. It had been nearly three weeks since they’d had any rain. Bleh. Kylie hated to sweat.

She immediately remembered the two men over by the pool tables from the last time she was here. One was standing at the end of the pool table, his stick in his hand, his other arm wrapped around the waist of a scantily-clad woman. The other man was standing behind an equally scantily-clad woman who was bent over the table lining up her shot. The man behind her was grinding his crotch into her ass, making her giggle.

Turning away, she found two men standing behind the bar watching her. One was familiar, but she was coming up blank on his name and the other she didn’t recognize, but thought he was really cute. Figuring they were her better option to get her where she needed to be, she moved their way. She could feel her face flaming red from the way both men were staring at her chest and smiling as she approached. Yes, she was blessed in the boob area, but their continued staring was making her uncomfortable. “Excuse me. I’m Kylie Mason. Can you let Race know I’m here?”

“I remember you, Kylie. You helped out with Trick’s old lady. Thanks for that.” A tall, lanky man with short blond hair and a heart-stopping smile extended his hand. “I’m Jed. This is Cutter. He’s a prospect.”

She accepted his greeting and smiled in return. “Hi. It’s nice to meet you. Can one of you tell him I’m here or tell me where I can find him?”

“Sure, sweet thing. Follow me. I’ll take you back to his office.” Jed came out from behind the bar and ambled down the hall, leading the way. Kylie followed a couple of steps behind, enjoying his easygoing, rolling gait and had to fight not to fan herself. He was on the slimmer side, but boy did he have a nice butt in his jeans.

The sound of people having sex reached her ears as she approached an open door. Jed disappeared around the corner, leaving her with a decision to make. Crap. She was a little freaked out. She needed to walk past the room to get to her destination. Should she look? Should she keep moving quickly past the doorway, her hand shielding her eyes from seeing what was going on inside? Wouldn’t that make her a prude if she covered her eyes? But wouldn’t that make her a perv if she looked their way? Well, shit.

She was at the door. What should she do?! What should she do?!

The moans, groans and grunts pulled her head in their direction. She only meant to take a quick peek, but found herself frozen in place. Holy shit. Three people were engaged in some rather hot sex and from the looks of things the woman sandwiched between two men was thoroughly enjoying herself. The look of pure unadulterated ecstasy on her face as both men fucked her kind of made Kylie jealous.

Kylie was completely enthralled with the scene playing out before her. To her shock the man thrusting into the woman’s ass was someone she recognized. It was Tulsa and he was pretty damn hot with the way his muscles in his arms, back and butt bunched and moved. His dark hair was a little on the long side and he was tan all over. How did the man not have tan lines? Did he go to a tanning bed and strip down naked? The longer she watched, the more jealous she got. Other than to watch the expressions on her face, Kylie skipped over the woman to the man on bottom. Her breath caught in her chest as a knot formed in her stomach. Tuck was the man on the bottom of their tangled threesome. His hands gripped the woman’s hips tightly in his hands at the same time he thrust up to meet her. The same way he’d done with Kylie the night he’d brought her back here after running into each other at Big Shots.

“Uh, sorry about that.” Kylie jolted at Jed’s sudden reappearance. He pulled the door closed and grabbed her arm, directing her around the corner to Race’s office.

“Here she is. Found her. She gotta a little sidetracked when she went past Tulsa’s room.”

Race jerked his chin up, understanding what Jed was saying without actually coming right and saying that she’d seen three people engaging in sex. One of which was Tuck.

Race’s gaze dropped to her chest and laughed. “Nice shirt. Have a seat, Kylie.” Race motioned to the chairs in front of his desk.

Kylie glanced down and wished the floor would swallow her whole. It read Love sucks. True love swallows. “Oh my God,” she groaned, wishing the floor would open up and swallow her.

Her face flushed ten kinds of red. She had no choice but to take a seat. And here she thought the worst thing to happen to her would be for Race and Jed to talk about what she’d seen.

“I’m so sorry. I grabbed the first clean shirt I could find. It was a gift from my sister. She thought she was being funny,” she explained. Well that explained why everyone kept staring at her chest and smiling.

Jed plopped down on the couch to her right, apparently having nothing better to do.

“Don’t you have somewhere to be?” Race asked him.

“Nope.” He smiled, flashing perfect white teeth. He crossed his ankle over his knee, an arm extending along the back of the couch. It looked like he was settling in for a show. Great. What did that mean for her?

“Kylie.” Race brought her attention back to him. “Don’t pay any attention to Jed. He’s a knucklehead.” He leaned forward so that his arms were resting on the surface of his desk.

“I asked you here to offer you a job. The club would like to hire you to do some work for us.”

When he didn’t immediately continue, she prodded him. “What kind of job?”

“The first thing you need to know and agree to is that anything you hear or see in the clubhouse, anything you discover on our behalf while working for the Sons of Redemption, is never to be spoken of outside of the clubhouse. That includes this conversation, too, whether or not you accept the job. If you take the job and ever have any concerns about anything, you come directly to me. Do you understand and agree to these terms?”

“Um, I understand that whatever I do for you and your club I’m not allowed to talk about.” Kylie’s brows dipped, wondering why Race was being so weird.

“I’m guessing you got an eyeful on your way to my office.” Race wasn’t asking, he was simply stating a fact. Was he fighting to keep from laughing at her? There was a hint of a smile on his face.

God, could she be anymore embarrassed? Her face was so hot she bet she could cook an egg on it. This was hands down the most bizarre job interview she’d ever been on. “Um, yes.”

“If you’re going to work for us, you’re going to have to get used to seeing things like that. Maybe even out in the common room. Since I’m guessing most of what we need from you can be done from home, it shouldn’t be much of an issue.” He leaned back in his chair and started rocking in his desk chair and openly grinning at her now.

Ugh. She was so glad she could provide him entertainment.
