Tuck squeezed her hand and gave her a reassuring smile. “Have fun answering all their questions.”
“You, too.”
Tuck and Darren were the last brothers to join the meeting. They each took their seats and looked around the table. Matching looks of shock, humor and “what the fucks” were pointed their way.
From Race’s seat at the head of the table, one side of his mouth hitched up. “You two got somethin’ you need to share?”
The way he emphasized “share” their prez already had an idea as to what was going on. The man was smart and it was very rare that anything got by him.
Tuck shared a look with Darren sitting at his side and got a nod. “Yeah. Kylie, Darren, and I are going to be in a menage relationship. We hope we have your support given people outside the club are going to have their own ideas when they see us together.”
“That goes without saying.” Race leaned forward, resting his arms on the table. “You will always have the support of the club. Do you mind us asking what brought you to this decision?”
“Yeah, we’re just curious,” Jed leaned back in his seat, his hands folded over his stomach. He appeared to be genuinely interested in their answer.
“Remember how I brought up the subject of that other club choosing a backup brother in case something happened?” They all nodded their heads or grunted their reply. “Well, after everything that Kylie has been through because of her association with me and the club I wanted, no, I needed to know that she was covered at all times.” He held up his hand when Dagger started to say something that would probably be along the lines of the club would always have her covered.
“I’m not saying that the club couldn’t cover her or that the club isn’t able to. This is something I need. I love her so damn much that the thought of life without her literally guts me.” He took a deep breath and released it slowly. “When Taylor showed up on my doorstep and fucked things up between me and Kylie, Darren was there for her. For everything. The more time they spent together, the closer I could see the two of them growing and I’m not complaining. You probably won’t understand it, but knowing Darren loves Kylie as much as I do and that he’d die for her, almost did die for her, means everything to me.”
“And what are Kylie’s feelings on this?” Dagger scratched at his scruffy chin.
“She’s finding having two men seeing to her pleasure at all hours of the day and night can be quite orgasmic,” Tuck’s smile broke wide.
Darren laughed and shook his head at Tuck’s choice of words.
“I imagine she is enjoying all the benefits to be had in a menage relationship.” Trick chuckled.
“Well, shit.” Jackson sat up straighter. “Is Kylie out there explaining the situation to the old ladies?”
“Yeah. I imagine so.” Tuck exchanged a confused look with Darren.
“Is that a problem?” Darren frowned.
“Yes. No. Maybe.” Jackson rubbed his hands on his face then looked to Race, Trick, Dagger and Maverick. “What if they get it in their heads that they want to add another brother to our marriages?”
Darren and Tuck threw their heads back laughing. They laughed so hard, they had tears in their eyes.
“What the fuck is so funny?” Jackson demanded to know.
“You guys,” Tuck told them. “What we’re doing isn’t for everybody. We know that. It’s just what works for us. No one says you have to do it, too.”
“Well, I don’t want the lifestyle, but the occasional threesome is kinda fun.” Trick shrugged his shoulders when Jackson turned his shocked expression his way. “What? We did it a time or two and it was hotter than fuck.”
“Wow. How did I not know this?” Jackson almost looked pissed that he hadn’t been privy to this information. “I thought we told each other everything.”
Trick frowned and tipped his head to the side. “Really? We’re not in high school. If Lindsey and I want to fuck with one of the brothers it shouldn’t matter one way or the other to you. Besides, if you and Calliope have had a threesome, I don’t remember you sharing that information.”
“Girls.” Race used his dad voice, stopping the bickering before it could get started. “Are you two going to braid each other’s hair now?”
All the brothers around the table laughed or snickered at Race’s comment.
“Now that we all know that Tuck and Darren are giving it to Kylie on the regular, can we move on to business?” Race spoke above the ribbing.
“What’ve you got, Prez?” Dagger asked.
“The Phantom Furies have got to know by now that their men are missing and when they put two and two together they’ll know it was us. I’m expecting there’s going to be some kind of retaliation in the near future. I would like to get ahead of the game.”
“What do you have in mind?” Maverick asked.
