"Sit the fuck down, and don't fucking move."

I keep my gun pointed at her as she takes a seat and I search for something to tie her up with. I rip the cords from the back of the huge TV on the wall and advance towards her while shouting.

"Place your hands behind your back!"

She immediately obeys, and I stand behind her, tying her tightly to the chair as she speaks.

"You're... you're not going to kill me?"

My jaw tenses with annoyance, and when I'm done, I step around her and grab a cloth from the table.

"You're fucking lucky that I don't kill women or children."

Her eyes widen and her jaw drops.

"So you wouldn't have killed me the whole time?"

With a sneer on my lips, I bend to her eye level and twist the cloth with my hands.

"It's not nice to be played, is it?"

I force the cloth into her mouth and tie it securely around the back of her head just as she's about to respond.

When I'm done, I stand upright before gazing down at her, and her tearful eyes connect with mine.

"Don't even think about trying to escape. If I find out you've informed others of this, I'll make an exception to come finish the job, and let's hope daddy was telling the truth, otherwise I'll be back."

I lean in again, my eyes fixed on hers.

"Or I'll just have to ask Wren to finish you. I mean, she'd most likely be more than fucking willing."

She gives me a nasty look as I stand straight before turning around and exiting through the back door.

When I get into the passenger seat of Jasper's car, he accelerates and speaks.

"Did you manage to get the address?"

I give a slight nod.

"The abandoned jail in New Jersey."

Lily

I'm lying in my bed, listening to some soothing music while reading and about to go asleep when I hear my mom yelling.

"Mom!?"

As I sit up quickly, my chest tightens with fear, my heart hammering against my ribs.

I sprint towards my door and open it before peering around the doorframe and down the hallway. When I see my mom racing towards me with dread in her eyes, my dad walks backward with a shotgun in his hands and calls out.

"Hazel!" "Get Lily in the safe room!"

As she passes me, she takes my wrist and forces me up the hallway, causing me to stumble behind her. When we come to a stop, my mom opens the cupboard door, and I immediately observe a hidden doorway behind the clothes in there.

"What the hell is this, Mom?"

When I look back down the hallway, I see my dad still walking backward, and when a man with a black balaclava races towards him, he fires a bullet, tearing his body apart instantaneously, sending blood and guts to splatter up the white walls.
