“Wren, it's good to see you again!”

She stands upright as I close the distance between us, and then we hug.

“It's great to see you too, Sara. How are you doing?”

“A little sore still, but I'll live.”

Arlo leans over me to kiss her cheek while attempting to squeeze by us to enter the house.

“Sis.”

“Bro.”

As we stand back, she smiles up at his tall frame while he passes her and then waves me in.

“Come on in!”

I follow behind Arlo and Cree, gasping as I take in the breathtaking surroundings.

“Wow!”

It's wonderful and big, which you wouldn't believe from the outside, but it's enormous inside, and everything is luxurious with white and gold decor.

“Your house is absolutely beautiful, Sara!”

She smiles before walking in front of me in the direction Arlo and Cree went.

“Come on over and meet the baby!”

I follow her until we reach the living room, where Cree is peering down at the small, newborn baby in a swinging chair. When I see she's dressed in pink with a large white bow headpiece, I'm in awe of her.

“Oh, Sara, she's adorable!”

She smiles back at me before crouching down next to Cree.

“Her name is Phoebe, Phoebe Hayes.”

When she says that, she glances up at Arlo, who gives her a tiny smirk, clearly pleased that she has taken their last name.

She then returns her attention to Cree.

“Would you want to hold her?”

He gives her a wary glance but eventually responds with a tiny nod.

"Sit up on the couch, and I'll bring her over to you."

I help Cree onto the large couch before standing back and watching her place her on his lap, making her appear much larger against his small body.

Sara and I stare at them both in delight for a while before she glances in my direction.

“Would you like to have something to drink, Wren?”

I nod and smile, hoping for an opportunity to ask her a few questions that I've been itching to ask.

When satisfied with my answer, she turns and faces Arlo.

“Would you mind watching the two of them for a moment?”
