“Where's that little bitch hiding?”

“I... I... I don't know.”

I grit my teeth, shaking my head, before I stand.

“See. I know you do. You've always known, Izzy. Even at that party, you knew.”

I stroll meticulously around the desk until I'm directly in front of her, then lean against it with my pistol in my hand. She peers up at me, still finding it hard to breathe.

“What happened to you, Wren? You used to be so nice.”

I raise an eyebrow at her manipulative bullshit before calmly crouching down in front of her.

“Are you really that fucking dumb that you don't know what the fuck happened to me?”

She just stares at me and I continue calmly, staring deep into her soul.

“I will burn this entire city the fuck down to find her. She fucked with the wrong one. She will die a very, very slow and painful death. Believe that.”

“You can't fight fire with fire; that's what got Arlo killed.”

My teeth grind, glancing away and I continue while I stand.

“Just give me the location, Izzy, and then I'll let you go.”

“I already told you, I don't know shit.”

I sigh, bored of her nonsense, and raise my gun again, calmly firing another shot into her other thigh. Another blood-curdling scream leaves her, and I just stare at her, not feeling an ounce of remorse.

“You're not taking this situation seriously enough, Izzy, and you will end up dying for her, which is unfortunate. Give me a fucking location!”

She pants hard, staring at me, and I cock my head to the side before raising my gun again.

“I don't know the exact location, but she's somewhere in Chicago, lying low with that Carter dude.”

I raise an eyebrow before lowering my weapon.

“See, how hard was that?”

I look at Dom, raise my chin ever so slightly, and he nods in return before leaving the room.

I walk around the desk and take a seat as two guards come in and drag her out by her arms.

Just as Dom is about to leave with them, I call out to him.

“Dom?”

He stops and glances over his shoulder.

“I want that little bitch tortured to give information; she knows more than she is letting on, but don't kill her just yet.”

“Reach out to our connections in Chicago; someone will rat Savannah out in the end.”

He gives a small nod and then exits the room, leaving me completely alone. I place the gun back in the drawer before closing it and then sinking back into the chair with a sigh.

I fiddle with my engagement ring on my finger before bringing it to my lips and whispering against it with my eyes closed.

“Not long now, baby, and they'll all pay for what they've done, I promise.”
