As I respond, I frown slightly and look down at myself.

“You don’t like it?”

He comes to stop in front of me, and I gaze up at him, waiting for him to answer.

"That's the problem, I do, so how many other perverted cunts are going to be imagining what you're wearing beneath that sexy fucking dress?"

I grin as I roll my eyes at his jealousy before sounding a warning at him.

“Arlo..”

He grips my throat firmly and draws me closer to him, bringing my face to his and I am forced up onto my tiptoes, despite the fact that I am wearing tall heels.

His black eyes sweep across my features before he sets his lips on mine, biting on his words.

"You look absolutely stunning, and I'm a jealous fucking man."

I smile against his lips before I respond.

"Yet I'm yours, remember?"

He growls onto my lips.

“Yes, you are fucking mine.”

His words tremble through me and when his lips finally capture mine, we become lost in an intense and fiery kiss until I place my palms firmly on his chest to break away.

I gaze into his eyes and speak through breathlessness because of the arousal that has spiked inside of me, my core throbbing already.

"We need to go; Cree is waiting."

He releases the hold on my throat with a frustrated snarl, and as soon as I pass him, he spanks my ass hard, forcing me to squeal and buckle on my legs.

“That ass is mine later, slut.”

I giggle, rubbing my sore cheek with my palm as I go out the door, making my way to Cree's room with Arlo following close behind.

I press on his door handle, and as soon as I open it, he leaps from his bed and runs towards us, a big smile on his face.

"Look, Daddy, I look just like you!"

Arlo smirks and lifts his pants before crouching in front of him and smoothing his tattooed hand down the front of Cree’s tailored suit.

"Nah, you look much better than me."

He lifts him with him as he stands, and then we walk downstairs before leaving the house and getting into his car.

I can sense Arlo keeps looking across to me as he drives, but I just gaze out of the window beside me, feeling a little worried about having to face his family, especially his father, after what happened at the club.

When we’ve pulled up outside of a luxurious restaurant in the heart of New York City and gotten out of the car, Arlo frees Cree from his carseat before handing over his keys to a valet.

As soon as we enter, I can’t stop the gasp that escapes me since I've never dined in such an outstanding restaurant before; it honestly leaves me breathless by its beauty and how classy it is.

Arlo appears to know where he's going, and we're not asked for our reservations, so I just trail behind him while he still carries Cree in his arms.

When I spot his family, I take an anxious breath and as we move closer to them, Sara smiles as she calls out to me.

"Wren! Come sit with me!"
