Page 127 of The Omega's Contract

Insecurity seizes me. Maybe they don’t want me anymore. Maybe they want to end the contract. But I have a bond mark. Maybe Lukas regrets giving it to me. These thoughts have kept me up far into the night.

They go round and round, making me dizzy and sick.

The limo pulls to a stop, and Sven gets out and opens my door. He escorts me into a large building and to the lifts. I recognise the inside of the lifts and turn to hurl an essay of questions at him, but he smiles.

It’s unnerving and forces me to swallow my curiosity.

He puts a key into the side panel and nods his head at me before stepping off the lift.

“Have a good night, Miss Missy.”

I blink at him, but it’s too late to say anything as the doors shut. I go up for what seems like ever, and when the door opens; I gasp.

The apartment that Sebastian brought me to all those long weeks ago. I walk forward, and the lift doors close. The room is awash in candlelight. There’s a massive pile of blankets and pillows on the floor facing the window and the setting sun. This place has been transformed. Bean bags, mattresses. Hanging nest chairs. A huge hammock. It’s one big giant nest.

I sense movement and turn, finding Darion sitting on a stool. He stands up and approaches me. His black slacks fit him perfectly, the charcoal shirt is open to the third button, revealing a large expanse of bronze flesh. The sleeves are rolled up, revealing his powerful forearm that flexes as he moves.

I feel giddy just seeing him. It’s like a dream.

“You have been the most beautiful mess of my life. Storming in and demanding, challenging, threatening me with change.” He laughs softly and reaches up to cup my cheek. Sapphire blue eyes twinkle at me with a softness I’ve never seen before. “And you were right. About all of it. You saved me, Missy. I love you, and I want you to become our omega, stay with the pack. With me. Let’s make this all permanent. Accept my bond mark.”

I blink back tears and smile, nodding, but he lifts a hand and points. I turn slightly and find Sebastian moving to stare out the window. His huge back is to me, even under the shirt, you can see his muscles moving and shifting as he flexes.

“People fear me. They don’t listen to me. They make assumptions and think they know better. I’m big and, therefore, must be dumb. But you listened to me. You heard me even when I didn’t speak. Missy, you fucking belong here. With us.”

He turns, and I see those gray, stormy eyes turn to molten silver as he grins.

“I love you and this sunset. This is the first one of the rest of our lives. Take my bond and let me be yours forever.”

I’m biting my lip to stop any sounds that try to escape. My stomach flutters. They look amazing. I drink them in, looking from Seb to Darion and back again.

Lukas wraps his arms around me from behind. I lean into him and feel that anxious ball fade away to be replaced with a feeling of completeness.

“Lukas,” I murmur.

“Kitten,” he purrs. “I don’t have a speech. You’re mine. I’m yours. We love each other. And this…this is your nest. Our gift to you. Tell these two idiots that you aren’t going anywhere. They’ve been shitting themselves and driving me mad with their whining.”

I burst out laughing. “I’m not going anywhere. I’m yours.” I hesitate. “How's your head?”

“I’m all healed up. No lasting damage, just a bruise, I promise,” Lukas says softly.

Darion visibly slumps and then closes the distance, picking me up and spinning me around. I wrap my arms around his neck as he lowers me, bringing us close so I can kiss him.

We break apart, and Seb tugs me into his warm arms. His kiss is slower, sweeter, but no less powerful.

I finally break away and turn to Lukas, but he struts away from me, peeling his shirt off. I watch with a hungry stare. His tattoos wrap around his back, dip below the waist line. His piercings catch the light.

“Lukas,” I growl warningly.

“I had one reason for wanting this penthouse when I saw it.” He purrs and kicks off his shoes. “Take that dress off, pretty girl.” He cocks his eyebrow.

I strip out of the dress, leaving me in the lace bra, panties, and boots.

I love the way they stare at me. It makes me feel giddy. Lukas stalks towards me and walks me back to the window. Pale green eyes stare straight into my soul. I can’t hide, and I don’t want to.

The sky is bright orange now and pouring light into the room. He spins me around and lifts my arms and puts them on the window, before grabbing my hips and pulling me roughly against him.

I groan at the feel of his hot cock against my ass. My stomach clenches, and the slick soaks the new underwear. He kneels behind me, his hot breath on my thigh. He gently strips me out of my boots. He bites my skin, nibbling his way up before tugging my panties down to my ankles.
