"Maya. Damn."

She moved forward again, her eyes locked tightly on his and her body stiffened as her lips formed the most perfect 'o' he'd ever seen. Goose bumps formed on her arms as her orgasm rocked her and he lay still, mesmerized by this Helen before him. He pushed himself into her twice before his orgasm rocked him back. His head pushed into the bed, his eyes focused only on Maya.

She leaned down and kissed his lips softly, her tongue sliding over his in the softest, sweetest kiss he'd ever had in his life. Her lips nipped his a couple of times, then she nestled her nose into his neck, and laid her head on his shoulder.

"Damn girl," he huffed.

Her giggle vibrated through his chest and his arms wrapped around her tightly. He drifted into a sweet sleep.

Maya's phone chimed. She opened her eyes and glanced around the cabin Jasiah had built. It was nice. Small, but from what she'd seen of many of the cabins up here, they were all small. Easier to heat that way. The bedroom was to the back of the cabin, a door to the outside where he said he enjoyed watching the sun come up. They'd entered through the kitchen. A curtain hung between the two rooms, but had been pushed open and looked like it was always open. Her phone chimed again, and she realized what had woken her. She lay nestled against a naked and very handsome, Jasiah. His arm around her even now. His scent wrapped her in a sense of calm and happiness.

Sadly, she lifted herself up, pushed back the covers, wondering when they'd covered up. She stepped toward her pants, laying across one of the kitchen chairs. Fishing her phone from her pocket she saw a text from Myles.

"Call me."

She swallowed as the situation came back to her in clear focus. There was a killer running around. She dressed as Jasiah sauntered into the kitchen.

"That's so sad," he husked.

"What's sad?" She chuckled.

"You covering up your gorgeous body."

She fastened her bra from the back, then moved toward him. He instantly leaned down and kissed her lips. They enjoyed their kisses for a few moments, then he stepped back and tugged his shirt from another chair.

Maya reread the text. “That’s so sad.” She offered.

“What’s wrong?”

Her head turned toward him, a saucy grin on her face. “You covering up your gorgeous body.”

He chuckled. “Sassy.”

She shrugged, "Myles asked me to call him."

"Okay." He slipped on his briefs, then his jeans as she finished dressing. "You want some tea?"

She smiled. "I would. Thank you."

She watched a moment as he moved around his kitchen with ease. It was nice watching him. He took care of himself, and her, without help. Self-sufficient came to mind.

She sat at the table and tapped Myles' picture on her phone. It rang only once before he said, "Where are you?"

"It's nice to hear your voice too. I'm up in Hickory Hills."

"We lost him. He drove into Brookswood and disappeared."

"Shit. Do you think he's coming back here?"

"I'd be surprised if he didn't. We're teaming up and will be watching around the clock. One agent will be watching the roads. Spencer has been setting up cameras to watch the roads down here. He'll come up there in a bit to set up cameras around the common area, focusing on Jasiah's cabin. Until we believe someone else is his focus, we'll focus on him. Can you ask around and see if any of the residents have seen this man?"

"Yes, I was about to do that. I'll start with Marni. The little girl who saw the senator."

"Perfect. Spencer will be up there in about an hour."

"Okay." She took a deep breath. "I'll watch for him. Who is on duty tonight?"
