“I want your cock,” I said, arching my back, offering my body to him.

“You’re not mine,” he said, whipping my pussy.

Laughter bubbled inside me and came out. “And yet you fucked me. You were my first.”

“Is that true?”

Rico and I both turned our attention to the direction of the voice. Standing by the door was Nico. How long had he been there? I wondered? I never heard him enter.

“Nico,” Rico said.

Nico closed the door and left. Rico glared at me, anger in his eyes. He dropped the crop and rushed out after his brother.

Rico

I WENT AFTER Nico who was walking a little too fast down the passage and into the entertainment room. I called after him, but he didn’t respond. It was her fault, I thought, but I knew it wasn’t. I couldn’t blame her as much as I wanted. This was all my doing. I should have told him earlier. I should have said something. Hell, I shouldn’t have touched her at all.

I found Nico at the bar next to the entertainment room, making a drink. “I should explain,” I said.

He chugged down a big gulp of drink. “There’s nothing to say.” He did not sound as cordial as those words intended to mean.

“I’m sorry,” I said. “It happened while I was drunk,” I started rumbling some apology, “and a little high from the deal we made. I wasn’t thinking and when I found out she was a virgin--”

Nico cut off the sentence with a punch. It was so strong I staggered back a little from as the pain radiated from my cheek to every muscle of my body. I knew what I had done would anger him, and I deserved that punch. I deserved more.

“When did it happen?” he asked.

“Does it matter?”

“When?”

“Europe. When you went to Europe.”

Nico chugged his drink again and smashed the glass against the wall of the bar. If I needed any sign that I had hurt him more than I thought, this was it. I hated myself for what I had done, but there was another feeling I wasn’t having. “I know what I did was wrong, however.”

Nico, who had been avoiding me, stared back at me. I continued, “However, I don’t regret it.”

“Oh really. Nice to know you feel great about it.”

“I don’t. I feel horrible. But when I was with her, I never wanted to be anywhere else.”

“I don’t need the details on how she sucked you into heaven.”

“What I mean is, as much as I wanted her then and still want her now, it doesn’t mean that you and I have to ruin our relationship over it.”

He scoffed. “Is that your way of apologizing?”

“I’ve always been shit at it.”

“That’s one thing we can agree on.”

Nico went back to the bar and took two fresh glasses and poured scotch into both of them. He offered me one. “Truce?” he said. I took the glass, relief washing over me. “You and I shouldn’t be fighting over a woman,” he added. “We’ve been doing that since she came.”

I nodded. “She’s irresistible, I have to admit, but that doesn’t mean she has to dictate how we treat each other.” Especially considering what we learned. This woman could hurt both of us and we had both put our guard down. We let a mole in and we almost paid the ultimate price for it. I hadn’t forgotten the shock I felt when Rico told me of the lethal drug she had. Or when I found her in the middle of trying to steal something from me. She had to pay for what she did, but and this was the rub, I want her for myself. I know Nico wants her as well. I could tell by the way he was looking at her when I carried her into the plane. He wanted to be the one to do it. Even his pain had been overridden by desire. Just like mine.

“She has to pay,” Nico said.

“But it doesn’t mean we can’t derive pleasure from it,” I replied.
