Carlo’s arms crossed over his burly chest. “Don’t feel bad. I missed it, too.”

Eve and I sat back on the couch. “Okay, so lay it on us. What are your rules of engagement?” Eve asked in a calm, non-confrontational voice.

“I suppose it’s the same as how you are with Carlo and Stefan. And how I am with Giselle.” His head jerked toward me.

Stefan nodded and spoke up, “Exactly. Hugging and kissing are allowed. But anything that goes further needs to be previously discussed and approved by everyone.”

Carlo’s hands moved to his waist. “Damn right.”

Oh.

Boy.

These guys were beyond possessive. But I had to admit—that fact made something inside of me sing. There was a part of me that wanted them to feel like this about us.

About me.

“I’m sorry if we—if I—” I started, but then Eve sighed.

Her hands covered mine, and she said, “No, this wasn’t your doing. You have nothing to apologize for.”

Then her head turned, and she spoke to the men, “This was all my idea. I’m the one who talked Giselle into teasing you guys the first night. She had nothing to do with it. And then what happened on the couch—” she quickly gazed at me and then back to them, “it really was just—getting swept up in the moment. And curiosity.” She shrugged. “Innocent curiosity. We were having a heart-to-heart and then—one thing led to another. I should have stopped it, but it felt so—” she looked back at me and sighed again, “natural. But now I see that it was wrong to do that.”

Stefan stood instantly and said, “Fuck, no.” He strode over to Eve and reached his hands down to her. She let go of me and slipped her hands inside of his. He pulled her to standing and said, “Watching you two together was the highlight of my fucking life.” His hands rounded her waist, and he pulled her close. “And walking in on you two just now—” his eyebrows rose, and he seemed at a small loss for words, “will live rent-free in my goddamn brain. Forever.”

Carlo wandered over and stood beside his brother. His hand grabbed her arm, and he pulled her over. “He’s right.” Carlo’s lips lightly touched Eve’s. “And what you did for us that night was fuckin’ unexpected. I’m surprised I didn’t come right in my pants when you two started kissing.”

Eve let out a sexy giggle, and he kissed her lips again. This time, he smiled. “I’m glad I managed to control myself and come inside of you instead.”

They both laughed and kissed again. Then Nick walked over and pulled me up to him. “He’s not lying. Seeing you and Eve together,” his lips came within an inch of mine, “was fucking amazing. You guys drove me crazy.”

I grinned and wrapped my hands around his shoulders. “I sort of got that impression.”

Then he kissed me. Like, really, really kissed me.

Then Carlo and Stefan grabbed me—and they took their turns kissing me. And saying sweet things to me.

Letting me know that everything was okay.

They still loved me.

And they were over this little—blip—in judgment.

And after that, Eve and I went upstairs for a nap.

In separate beds.

Giselle

“Are you okay?” Eve poked her head in just as I was tying my bikini top. Or more like trying to tie it.

“If I could tie this freaking thing, I’d be a lot better.” I sighed and gave up. The cups of my bikini fell down when I gave up and let go of the strings.

“Here, let me help.” She stepped inside and walked to me. She wore a barely-there red bikini. The cups didn’t even come close to covering her large breasts.

Much like the white bikini I currently wore. Or was attempting to wear.
